Airswift entered the Tanzania market in 2015 to support major projects in the region. In 2018, Airswift officially opened an office in Dar es Salaam to provide a local presence to our clients.
EACOP Project
Airswift Consulting Tanzania is supporting the ongoing EACOP Project. The East African Crude Oil Pipeline is a 1,443km crude oil export infrastructure that will transport Uganda’s crude oil from Kabaale – Hoima in Uganda to the Chongoleani peninsula near Tanga in Tanzania for export to the international market.
This major export system, (296km in Uganda and 1,147km in Tanzania), comprises of a 24inch insulated buried pipeline, 6 Pumping stations (2 in Uganda and 4 in Tanzania) and a marine export terminal.

Nationalisation Strategy
Airswift Consulting Tanzania recognizes the importance of nationalization and the role it plays in our operating locations. In an effort to develop and maintain a local workforce, we have a Workforce Nationalization Strategy, which seeks to:
- Increase the number of local and native personnel employed in selected regions
- Actively source qualified and skilled local and native personnel
- Coordinate training of local and native personnel
- Support skills transfer from expatriates to native personnel
- Create development and advancement opportunities for native personnel
