Key Responsibilities:
Business Growth & Market Expansion:
- Identify, research, and pursue new business opportunities in the energy sector, focusing on diversifying the client base.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key industry stakeholders, including potential clients, government agencies, and partners.
- Lead the preparation of proposals, bids, and presentations to secure new contracts.
- Analyze market trends and the competitive landscape to identify strategic growth opportunities.
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with both existing and potential clients.
- Act as the primary point of contact for business inquiries and client negotiations.
- Ensure client satisfaction by addressing concerns and providing tailored solutions.
- Develop and implement a structured business development strategy aligned with the company’s goals.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure alignment of business development efforts with operational capabilities.
- Monitor and report on business development performance metrics.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
- Establish strategic alliances and collaborations to enhance service offerings.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure profitable deals.
- Ensure all contracts comply with company policies and legal requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field (MBA or other relevant postgraduate qualification is a plus).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field, preferably in the energy sector.
- Proven track record of successfully driving business growth and managing client relationships.
- Strong understanding of the energy industry and its dynamics.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
