Elevate Your Career in Documentation Specialist III with Airswift
Are you ready to take on the role of Documentation Specialist III for a major oil and gas project in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea? As a key member of the project team, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing all documentation and information handover to support operations planning and start-up preparations.
Role Overview
- Coordinate between the Project Team (PT) and Operations to define documentation and information requirements for handover to support operations planning and start-up preparations.
- Develop and implement a Documents for Operations (DFO) strategy, working closely with stakeholders to ensure all deliverables meet company specifications.
- Interface with Project Team members to identify start-up, integrity critical, and ready for operations deliverables.
- Plan and conduct DFO workshops and training sessions to ensure understanding and compliance with DFO expectations and requirements.
- Provide guidance and facilitate resolution of any DFO queries or deviations.
- Monitor the progress of DFO deliverables, report status to handover cycle for tracking purposes, and identify any gaps or deficiencies.
- Perform internal and external audits of DFO deliverables and ensure resolution of any issues raised.
- Implement performance measurements to track DFO progress and report on any deficiencies.
- Ensure all final DFO drawings, documents, and associated attributes are loaded into the company's Electronic Document Management System (EDMS).
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in technical or engineering disciplines desired.
- Experience in areas of operations and/or project technical support, including document management and IT systems and tools.
- Expert level proficiency in Information Management skill area.
- Understanding of information and documentation needs in operating oil and gas facilities.
- Experience in a Production, Refining, or Chemicals operations technical support organization.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence outcomes without direct authority over teams responsible for deliverables.
- ITIL or relevant Microsoft certifications advantageous.
