Job Responsibilities:
- Manage and process financial settlements, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in transactions.
- Collaborate with internal finance teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth settlement processes and timely payments.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies related to shipowner settlements, ensuring compliance with company policies and financial regulations.
- Support month-end closing activities, financial reporting, and assist with audit requirements for the accounting team.
- Contribute to process digitization and automation projects, enhancing efficiency in financial settlements.
- Provide assistance on various financial initiatives, special projects, and additional tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in financial settlement, accounts payable, or maritime finance.
- Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and internationally.
