Job Title: Help Desk Technician I
Location: Bartlesville, Oklahoma
Schedule: 24/7 availability required

Our client is seeking a Help Desk Technician 1 to work within their facilities located in Bartlesville, Oklahoma on a 1-year assignment with the possibility of extension.

Responsibilities May Include:

  • Providing professional and courteous technical support to customers regarding network connectivity, credit card acceptance, fuel allocation supply management, and extranet support.
  • Responding to customer inquiries via phone, IM, online networks, and email.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to credit card processing, point-of-sale (POS) hardware/software, and network connectivity.
  • Facilitating customer supply requests based on established guidelines.
  • Assisting with credit card settlement system inquiries, including retrieval requests, chargeback inquiries, batch totals, and reconciliation.
  • Maintaining accurate records and meeting job performance targets related to customer service, productivity, and quality.
  • Staying up to date with technical knowledge on all assigned software, hardware, and web-based platforms.

Position Requirements:

Basic/Required:

  • Legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Availability for all shift schedules, including overnights (8 PM – 8 AM), evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred:

  • 1+ year of IT Help Desk or technical support experience.
  • Familiarity with POS equipment and network communication methods such as broadband, VSAT, and DSL.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and draw valid conclusions.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and write professional reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
