Job description:
- Performing hydrodynamic modelling and analysis of ship and marine structures
- Responsible for conducting in-depth analyses to ensure the safe and efficient operation of marine vessels. This includes motion response analysis, mooring analysis, green sea analysis, mooring fatigue analysis, and other hydrodynamic assessments.
- Perform various hydrodynamic calculations and analysis to assess their behavior in different sea conditions, ensure compliance with safety standards, to evaluate the performance and reliability of ship mooring systems in various environmental conditions etc.
- The ideal candidate will have a strong background in naval architecture, fluid mechanics, and practical experience in using relevant software tools for marine engineering.
- Bachelor / Master (Naval Arch, Ocean Engineering)
- Strong understanding of ship motions, mooring systems, and green sea effects.
- Collaborate with naval architects, structural engineers, and project managers to integrate hydrodynamic considerations into ship designs.
- Should be proficient in report writing, good communication skills and multitasking capability
- Utilize software tools such as Moses, Optimoor, OrcaFlex, Hydrostar, Mike and other relevant platforms for hydrodynamic simulations and analyses.
- Generate technical reports, documentation, and presentations to communicate analysis results and recommendations to project teams and clients.
