Lead Electrical Engineer

Lead Electrical Engineer Our client are leaders in the Electrical Engineering space, delivering design and project delivery services to the Mining, Utilities, Materials Handling and Industrial sectors with extensive and proven capabilities in Australia, and around the world. Our client have the capability to design and deliver on complex projects, from early study work to commissioning and handover, drawing on the expertise of senior company personnel who have worked together for 30 + years.
 
We require a Lead Electrical Engineer to join our Perth based design team, contributing & coordinating design on a range of major Lithium Gold & Copper projects, in Australia, & offshore that our client has been driving from study phase.
 
Key Requirements

• Have a solid understanding of technical (E, I&C) principals relating to the large industrial & complex operational assets that our clients own and operate.
• Relevant Electrical engineering degree or equivalent qualification
• Experience co ordinating / driving specialized electrical teams, on front end greenfield and brownfield development projects with complex electrical scope
• LV design experience (LV MCC design, protection & co-ordination studies)
• Major project design experience throughout the design cycle
• Experience / exposure to project delivery, driving a job, (not necessarily an entire project!)
• Understand the project development process for juniors/mid-tier miners
• Provide specialized advice and guidance to client
• The ability to contribute / influence in a meeting; exercises good judgment on how to contribute, and collaborative behavior
