Job Responsibilities:
- Identify, assess, develop and manage new programs and new business opportunities across multiple industry verticals including Logistics, Automotive, Consumer Goods, Healthcare, Food and Apparel leading to successful commercialization efforts.

The Role
We are seeking a Lead Civil Engineer to join a high-performing and established team of engineers and designers at our centrally located Perth CBD office. Reporting to the Principal Civil Engineer, you will lead and manage a team, providing technical expertise and guidance across various stages of the project, from studies to implementation.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical expertise and guidance across various stages of the project, from feasibility studies to implementation.
- Lead and manage a team of engineers and designers, spearheading their development.
- Mentor civil engineering staff, ensuring they are trained and competent to carry out their roles safely and efficiently.
- Apply a comprehensive understanding of civil engineering principles to deliver practical and economical solutions that meet client requirements.
- Ensure technical solutions are developed in close coordination with related disciplines.
- Produce and coordinate the production of documentation, specifications, and project deliverables within agreed timeframes and budget.
What You'll Need to Succeed:
- Bachelor of Engineering degree in Civil Engineering.
- 12+ years of relevant professional experience, with demonstrated experience working on projects in the Pilbara region.
- Proven experience in study and design projects within the heavy haul rail or mining industry.
- Strong capability as a technical leader and mentor, with the ability to manage a team.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the capacity to build professional relationships both internally and client-facing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to analyse and resolve complex issues.

Indicative assignment length: initial 12-month contract
We are looking for a Senior Mechanical/Piping Engineer who will play a key role providing specific engineering services to our client and their projects. Ideal candidate would be based south region (Mandurah/Rockingham/Pinjarra/Cockburn/Kwinana etc). Can work 3 days on site in Pinjarra and 2 days WFH or Kwinana office.
The Role:
- Ensure the project scope is clear and identify changes to scope as required in line with project change management processes.
- Prepare and review the production of detailed design deliverables including drawings, specifications, scopes of work, datasheets, calculations and reports.
- Conduct or contribute to appropriate studies, analyses and recommend actions.
- Prepare / contribute to project documentation such as proposals, estimates, budgets and schedules.
- Participate in relevant meetings, prepare progress reports and follow required checking procedures.
- Provide assistance and advice during procurement, construction and commissioning activities.
- Provide specialist technical support, supervision and advice to the discipline and project teams; participate in peer reviews; and consult with relevant resources as required.
- Technically evaluate vendor equipment supply proposals.
- Identify issues and problems; develop appropriate and innovative solutions and ask for assistance if required.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest developments and technical innovations in the discipline.
What you'll need to succeed
- An Australian recognised Bachelor qualification in mechanical engineering.
- Excellent knowledge of the fundamental requirements of the discipline, including:
- Equipment layout.
- Design of pump and piping systems.
- Fluid system analysis and design particularly of slurry systems.
- Pipe stress analysis.
- Design of pressure equipment and materials handling equipment
- Read and interpret drawings, including general mechanical, piping and P&ID drawings.
- Competent in the use of relevant software such as MS Office Suite and discipline specific including: AFT Fathom / Fluid Flow 3, Non compressible and compressible fluid system analysis. Navisworks, Bluebeam / Adobe Suite etc.
