We are seeking an experienced Occupational Health Nurse and Hygiene Specialist to join our team on a full-time contract basis. This is a great opportunity to work in the dynamic city of Amsterdam, Netherlands and utilize your fluency in Dutch and expertise in occupational health.
Role Overview
- Provide occupational health services under the supervision of a registered company doctor.
- Conduct on-site tasks and virtual consultations in the Netherlands.
- Work within Dutch legal framework and adhere to professional guidelines and standards.
- Collaborate with a team of professionals to ensure the health and safety of employees.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records of services provided.
- Participate in absence management and address any health-related questions or concerns.
- Utilize virtual consultations to provide timely and efficient services.
- Ensure compliance with occupational health regulations and guidelines.
- Assist in the development and implementation of occupational health programs.
- Conduct risk assessments and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Stay up to date on industry developments and best practices in occupational health.
- Fluent in Dutch: Must be able to communicate effectively in Dutch.
- Occupational Health Expertise: Strong knowledge of occupational health principles and practices.
- Virtual Consultations: Experience conducting virtual consultations for occupational health services.
- Professional Independence: Ability to work independently within the Dutch legal framework.
- Collaboration: Strong teamwork and communication skills to work with a team of professionals.
- Attention to Detail: Accurate record-keeping and documentation skills.
- Risk Assessment: Ability to identify potential risks and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Continuous Learning: Willingness to stay updated on industry developments and best practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in occupational health or related field preferred.
- Certification in Occupational Health or related field preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in occupational health or related field.
