We are seeking an Electrical & I&C Project Manager to join our team and oversee electrical and instrumentation & controls (I&C) projects at our site. This role involves managing projects from initiation through closeout, ensuring compliance with station processes and project management best practices. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in electrical and I&C disciplines, experience with scheduling tools, and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
Project Management & Execution
- Manage electrical and I&C projects from initiation (funding requests, project kick-off) through design, execution (field implementation), and closeout.
- Ensure projects follow station processes and project management best practices.
- Oversee project scheduling using online and outage processes.
- Review and manage P6 project schedules for timely execution.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure project alignment with organizational goals.
- Provide expertise in electrical and I&C disciplines for project execution.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety requirements.
- Support troubleshooting and resolution of technical issues during project implementation.
- Work closely with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure successful project completion.
- Lead, facilitate, and participate in meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide project updates, reports, and presentations as needed.
- Identify and communicate operational risks, defining risk mitigation strategies.
- Support and implement process improvements, including system testing and workflow enhancements.
- 6+ years of experience managing electrical and I&C projects at industrial sites.
- Strong understanding of electrical and I&C disciplines in a project management context.
- Experience working with Primavera P6 for project scheduling.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project).
- Experience in nuclear projects is highly desirable.
- Contractor will report through the Design Engineering organization and assist in managing site projects.
- Must demonstrate leadership in assigned project areas, ensuring project goals and milestones are met.
- Candidate should be capable of obtaining unescorted access to the facility and completing all nuclear badging requirements.
