Airswift is recruiting a Project Team Lead for a 2 years project based in Guyana with a leading company in the EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) sector. This role will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day execution of projects, managing teams, and ensuring the delivery of milestones within scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Execution and Management:
- Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and completion of assigned projects.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, project specifications, and quality standards.
- Supervise and guide the project team, including engineers, supervisors, and support staff.
- Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members, ensuring clarity and alignment.
- Foster collaboration and resolve conflicts within the project team.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, subcontractors, and vendors regarding project updates.
- Facilitate regular meetings with stakeholders to review progress, address challenges, and implement solutions.
- Prepare and deliver comprehensive progress reports to senior management and clients.
- Identify potential risks to project success and implement mitigation strategies.
- Monitor project safety, ensuring adherence to HSE standards and regulations.
- Respond promptly to issues or delays, adjusting plans as necessary to minimize impact.
- Track project performance using key metrics and ensure adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Monitor resource utilization, optimizing manpower, materials, and equipment.
- Conduct post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in project execution, preferably in an EPC or industrial environment.
- Proven leadership experience in managing multidisciplinary teams.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
- Familiarity with relevant industry standards, codes, and best practices.
