Job Summary:
Airswift is seeking an experienced QA/QC Lead to oversee all quality assurance and quality control functions at our project site. This individual will be responsible for implementing and managing the site QA/QC management system, ensuring compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards, and coordinating all quality-related activities among subcontractors, vendors, and customer representatives.
Key Responsibilities:

QA/QC Implementation:
-
Implement and maintain the QA/QC management system on site in accordance with project specifications.

Monitor the implementation of the approved site Quality Control (QC) Plan.

Coordination & Communication:
-
Coordinate quality inspections and non-destructive testing (NDT) with site subcontractors and vendors.

Liaise with the customer’s representatives on all quality-related matters.

Coordinate with the site Construction Manager on all quality issues.

Coordinate and lead weekly QA/QC site meetings with project subcontractors and QC personnel.

Inspection Oversight:

Coordinate and oversee all receipt inspections and site quality inspections through the QC inspectors.

Elaborate and manage inspection and test programs (ITPs).

Ensure that all site quality-related activities are conducted in accordance with applicable codes and standards.

Documentation & Reporting:

Distribute relevant QA/QC documentation to subcontractors.

Ensure all technical documentation related to site quality is up-to-date.

Complete and coordinate the approval of site QC technical submittals for customer review.

Ensure that all quality control documentation is completed and compiled for final as-built handover via the QC turnover engineer.

Control nonconformance reports (NCRs) and oversee appropriate remedial actions.

Audits & Compliance:

Participate in internal and external site audits.
-
Complete site quality control instructions and document remedial responses.

Training & Development:

Review customer specifications and facilitate training sessions for site QC inspectors as needed.

Health, Safety & Environment:

Ensure all quality control procedures are carried out in a manner that complies with site safety requirements and promotes a safe working environment.

Qualifications:
-
Proven experience in a QA/QC management role within the construction, engineering, or oil & gas industry.

Strong knowledge of quality assurance and quality control procedures, codes, and standards.

Familiarity with inspection and test plans, NDT coordination, and document control processes.

Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.

Ability to work effectively with subcontractors, vendors, client representatives, and internal teams.

Certification in quality management or relevant discipline (e.g., ISO 9001, ASNT, AWS) is preferred.
