Airswift has been tasked by one of our best clients to seek a Project Civil Lead Engineer to join their team in Beaumont or Houston, TX for an initial 12-month contract, to be extended!  

Project will design, build, and commission a new 1.1-mile lateral pipeline, aerial pipe bridge, metering station, and interconnect facilities to enable the delivery of third-party gas to a new Gulf Coast LNG facility now in construction.  The project is currently moving into the FEED/EPC phase with startup scheduled for 3Q27. Successful candidate will join the Owner’s Project Management Team and function as the Owner’s Civil/Structural Engineering representative during design, fabrication, construction and commissioning.  

Responsibilities: 

• Act as Owner’s Engineer in the management of engineering, design and all civil / structural related technical aspects for a new natural gas pipeline. oversight Provide technical leadership and to all operational, regulatory and project driven activities including gas pipeline design and construction. 

• Provide Civil and Structural Engineering Leadership as Owner’s Engineer for new natural gas pipeline project.  Support the development and execution of Civil/Structural activities including plot plans, piping plans, foundation details, load assessments, stress analysis, Data Sheets, structural details, surveys, geotechnical & soil tests, etc.

Qualification & Experience

• Former construction trade hands-on experience in an Industrial / Oil & Gas industry.

• Maintain the Affiliate Company HSE IMS in full compliance with applicable regulatory framework, Company policies and procedures ensuring the process of continuous improvement.
• Planning and execution of gap analyses on HSE IMS processes against HSE MSG and ISO requirements as well as Health MSG when required.
• Coordinating and facilitating the development and maintenance of the Affiliate Company HSE Integrated Management System documentation within the framework of relevant company policies, plans, manuals and procedures.
• Coaching and supporting Company personnel to ensure understanding and compliance with the HSE Integrated Management System documentation and requirements.
• Supporting personnel in the process of the implementation of Company policies and procedures as part of the HSE IMS.
• Assisting in planning and execution of the internal affiliate audit program.  
• Promoting and ensuring Line Managers’ awareness of Company policies, systems, procedures and standards and their correct implementation.
• Developing the necessary new policies and procedures, reviewing and revising existing procedures to meet the business needs of the Company.
• Communicating and raising awareness to all levels of the Company on policies and procedures.
• Supporting the company’s Subsidiaries in the US as the HSE focal point to ensure awareness of Company policies, systems, procedures and standards in their correct implementation and conduct annual audits of each management system. 
• Coordinating and supporting Company personnel in the corrective and preventive actions process through systems and procedures with a high level of focus on HSE and sustainability issues and ensuring corrective and preventive actions are fully implemented and effective.
• Prepare affiliate plans such as the annual audit and four-year plans.
• Ensure audit program and associated audits are documented in Synergi / Indaco for HQ
• Ensure monthly reporting to HQ in regards to manhours, incidents, etc.
• Collaborate with Health department in reporing requirements, such as HEIS, BDHSE.
• Monitoring completion of corrective and preventive actions within internally scheduled deadlines (Synergi / Indaco).
• Schedule and conduct SEQ Management Reviews and reporting for Affiliate offices.
• Coordinate updates to various affiliate registers (Regulatory, Risk, Environmental, etc).
• Verify regulatory compliance status on semi-annual basis (6 months).
• Coordinate / Document Emergency Evacuation and Medical drills.

The role involves providing electrical engineering expertise across a Offshore Wind project, particularly focusing on offshore substations designs. 

You will focus on concept through to detailed design stages. This includes designing electrical power systems, performing calculations, specifying and requisitioning electrical equipment, and conducting in-depth analysis to ensure safe and efficient systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute Electrical engineering activities during Concept Design, Front End Engineering Development (FEED), Technical Studies, and Detailed Design.

Instrumentation and Control Systems Engineer

• Develop specifications for a variety of equipment.
