MAIN FUNCTIONS
Responsible for the safe and efficient operations, monitoring and maintenance preparation of wells, processing units and related facilities. This position requires a strong focus on oil, gas and water separation facilities operations along with major utilities and secondary expertise in all operations. This is a large project, which includes not only on-site facility start-up but also utilization of operating tools, procedures, work-permitting and training. Candidates with experience in new facilities startup and operations are very desirable.
TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Responsible for personal safety and the safety of co-workers. Follows and enforces all safety rules.
• Primary operations contact for their facilities. Understands process flow, basic chemistry associated with unit, major line-ups, and all unit safety equipment, including isolation points. Reviews computer data and computer generated schematics to ensure process is optimized.
• Physically inspects and monitors equipment and/or the work area using vision, hearing, smell, and touch, to ensure correct operation.
• Issues Safe Work Permits, which involves high degree of proficiency on current operating conditions as well as chemical, personnel and process safety risks associated with operating unit.
• Performs gas testing as necessary to ensure Operating area is safe to allow for specific maintenance activities to be performed.
• Process monitoring activities include Gauge Tanks, read meters, accurately record data, taking product samples, differential pressure, chemical injection rates, checking for leaks, freezing, overheating, etc.
• Performs "visual maintenance" by checking critical performance parameters such as temperature, pressure, level, flow rate, and/or vibration to ensure all equipment is operating within its defined operating envelope.
• Adjusts local process parameters (temperature, pressure, etc.) to maintain product specifications within their optimal operating window.
• Keep Company Vehicle Maintained and in good working condition
• Coordinate Oil Sales and salt water hauling as necessary
• Maintain accurate electronic or paper gauge sheets properly and note reasons for production changes
• Checks control valve positions to ensure valves are correctly positioned.
• Performs basic equipment maintenance (adding lube oil, water, tightening valve packing, changing filters and steam traps, clearing equipment, etc.).
• Communicates with Production Foreman to remain informed of existing process conditions and relate any changes made or needed.
• Performs winterization and summarization of equipment for maximum equipment efficiencies.
• Monitors field equipment using electronic test equipment including hand held monitors and computer monitoring equipment.
• Inspects safety valves, fire extinguishers, fire hoses, breathing apparatus, and other safety equipment.
• Participates in continuous improvement of all aspects of the business that they are assigned to execute.
• Understands and performs work according to environmental policies and procedures. Executes work in a manner that eliminates or minimizes environmental impacts (flaring emissions, oil spills, etc.). Attaches a high priority to resolving environmental problems.
• Understands and follows all working rules. Continuously improves job knowledge and skills.
• Demonstrates reliable attendance. Able to work independently where appropriate. Supports the team effort to execute assigned tasks and meet the team’s business objectives.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Manager to join our team for a Major Grid Connection project in the North Sea.
The role is focussed on the contruction of the Topsides for the Offshore Substations. Construction of the modules is due to start in 2025 and so you will be based primarily at the onshore construction facilities in the Netherlands.
Role Overview
- Coordinate with client representatives and oversee quality control, progress reporting, and health, safety, and environmental control of the EPC contractor.
- Identify risks and opportunities and propose mitigation plans.
- Serve as the main point of contact for construction towards the EPC contractor.

Our client is seeking a Stabilizer Multi-Skilled Operator II to work within their facilities located in Loving, NM for a 6-month assignment (with the possibility of extension depending on performance).
Key Accountabilities
- Following all ConocoPhillips Health, Safety, & Environmental (HSE), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), and Process Safety Management (PSM) rules
- Ensuring safe and efficient operation of all condensate stabilizing facilities
- Monitoring the operation of stabilizer and equipment to ensure the most efficient operation
- Work hours for this position are a twelve-hour rotating shift, occasionally requiring overtime during facility turnarounds, facility upsets, start-ups or when the workload demands require it
- Loading and unloading condensate and natural gas liquid (NGL) trucks, running all condensate samples (i.e. copper strips for corrosiveness, BS&W shake out, Reid vapor pressure test etc.), run caustic and amine samples
- Operation of oil stabilizer trains, compressors, vapor compressor unit, fuel fired boilers, condensate unloading pumps, condensate transfer pumps, positive displacement pipeline pumps and LACT units for delivery to 3rd party pipeline pumps
- Collaborating with Operations and I&E in optimization of plant instrumentation controls
- Responsible for trouble-shooting operations problems, housekeeping and record keeping

Responsibilities:
1. Capital Projects Organization Requirements:
- Complete formal mechanical completions walk down for a designated system or sub system.
- Responsible for signing off on systems and ensuring the system, sub-system is mechanically complete.
- Responsible for signing the release for commissioning and ensuring the system or sub-system is ready for commissioning.
- Responsible for signing the Release for Startup by ensuring the system or subsystem is ready for operations.
- Work with Projects and Operations on system turnover. Specifically, work with the designated CPO Coordinator & FCO Supervisor to ensure proper sign offs are provided by O&M personnel in the Project Completion System.
- Provide to the Construction Supervisor any forms that CPO/Operations need the installation contractor to complete. Examples are Rotating Equipment checklists and Vessel Closure forms.
- Create and manage the MOCs for all phases of operation - identify phases, create MOCs, and assign all tasks.
- Develop or refine Operating Procedures with the Project Operator including Commissioning and Startup procedures. Operating procedures may initially be developed by a PSM (process safety management) technical writer. Consult the Process Engineer, Pipeline Operator/Pipeline Coordinator (if applicable) and Facility Engineer as needed. The commissioning procedures shall include:
- Inerting/Purging
- Hydrocarbon/Process Commissioning
- Pressure Up – Ramp Up Procedure/Sequence of Events
- PHA of the non-continuous operating procedures (e.g. initial commissioning, pigging, etc.)
- Additional procedures as required by the project scope.
- Audit the PHAs and PPRs to ensure all issues are adequately addressed before equipment startup. Evaluate field changes to determine if they affect the PHA (changes are tracked by PCR, RFI, ECAR). Consider PHA/PSA for the step-bystep operating procedures.
- Automation Screens - Ensure that Automation has sufficient information to develop the IP21 screens and keep them informed of the schedule so they know when FCO will be taking place. Ensure that operator adjustable set-points are verified with the Board Operators and the Automation Engineers.
- All Process Safety Info - Startup Engineer should have an updated master set of Redlined P&IDs.
- Ensure Operators/ Craft Techs have required training for the new facility prior to startup. Ensure adequate training documents are prepared in addition to facilitating any required training sessions prior to start-up.
- Preventative Maintenance (PM’s)- Startup Engineer accountable, not directly responsible - ‘Who-to-do’ shall be determined and agreed upon with Operations prior to beginning of assignment as Startup Engineer. SIF’s have very specific PM requirements from ISA.
- Register any new chemicals onsite by completing the New Chemical Evaluation process with NSK Industrial Hygiene. This includes SDS submission.
- PSSR
- Verify system controller and alarm set points prior to startup.
- Prepare and maintain the PSSR or equivalent.
- Monitor documentation flow to ensure timely completion and turnover.
- Review P&ID redlines before the information is transferred to the final asbuilt drawing. The Start-Up Engineer should review the mark-ups for functionality and operability from a process point of view and for any impacts to critical safety devices and philosophies.
- Review vendor data to the extent possible and ensure it is uploaded against the correct functional locations.
- Product Structure Development in SAP - Master Equipment List - Review all RSPLs from the vendors and facilitate stocking levels and product structure development. ‘Who-to-do’ Product Structure development to be determined and agreed upon with Operations prior to beginning of assignment as Startup Engineer.
- Follow all punchlist/incomplete work items to completion until new facility is operating as desired by Operations.
- Communicate any open punchlist items to the Site or Remote Facility Engineer prior to leaving the Start Up Engineer position.
4. Interface with Operations
- Regularly interface with the Facility Engineers and/or Operations Supervision as requested by Operations. Keep the Facility Engineers up to date on all issues which affect process, the HAZOP, or require significant engineering changes. Report metrics to the Operations Team as requested by Operations/Facility Engineering Supervision
- Must Have 2+ years of oil and gas industry experience including gas/oil production, gathering, separation & processing, chemical processing, refining, or related experience.

INTRODUCTION
The Construction Superintendent EITS (Electrical, Instrument and Telecommunications Systems) is responsible overseeing the day-to-day construction activities of the EPcmC staff & CONTRACTORs for the installation and commissioning of electrical, instrumentation, telecom’s infrastructure, and security systems within the AGI, MST facilities and along the pipeline. They will ensure the work is carried out using safe working practices and is completed in accordance with the project codes, standards, drawings, and specifications. The EITS Superintendent will be responsible for the delegation and supervision of the EITS construction team across the package work scopes.
ACTIVITIES
- To manage the EITS scopes within the allocated LOT’s of the Pipeline, AGI, and MST area packages
- To provide on the job training and coaching to local content personnel, liaising either directly or indirectly with training providers to ensure training is provided and performance monitoring of such.

Airswift is currently recruiting for a Contract Specialist to be based in one of there clients UK offices on a hybrid basis.
Manages the pre- and post award procurement and contracts management life cycle associated with engineering activities and construction works on large and complex industrial Projects.
Responsibilities
- Extensive experience of managing pre-contract processes (including pre-qualification, preparation of Invitations To Tender, selection and award of contracts);
- Extensive experience of managing all post-award processes (general contract administration, change control, claims avoidance and management, final accounting, dispute resolution, etc);

- Extensive experience of published standard forms of engineering and construction contracts (e.g. FIDIC, IChemE, LOGIC, NEC, etc) standard and bespoke forms of contract;
- Involvement in Contract Work Practices;
- Sound knowledge of relevant statutes, and interpretation of commercial contracts;
- Understanding of construction methods, processes and concepts and the application of such knowledge;
- Basic ability to interpret relevant national industry codes and standards and of technical documents;

Perform conceptual, FEED, and detailed analyses and design as per design basis, project specifications, design codes and standards. Apply in-depth skills and broad knowledge of the business to address complex problems and nonstandard situations. Prepare clear and accurate detailed design calculations and analyses including design reports and procedures.
Responsibilities
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Become fully familiar with the project scope of work, specifications, schedule and all inter-discipline requirements; including identifying concerns as early as practicable and taking appropriate initiatives to address the issues. Interpret contractual requirements as they relate to engineering execution
- Identify changes to scope and promptly raise change notifications, including providing any necessary supporting documentation and estimates. Provide similar support for Variation Orders
- Interface with all disciplines to develop clash free designs
- Interface with other departments to obtain input for Discipline designs and drawings
- Maintain close co-ordination with other engineering disciplines, Planning, Fabrication, Marine, and Project Management Team, as required
- Document substantive communications (communications that result in significant decisions or assignment of actions) and forward copies to Discipline Lead Engineer and Discipline Manager
- Prepare estimates for bid proposals, including technical query reviews, execution statements and manhour estimates, identifying software requirements and any other project-specific requirements
- Raise technical queries to obtain missing information, clarify work scope, and to maintain preferred procedures, specifications, standards, practices and operational requirements
- Prepare, review, and (as Lead Engineer) approve Discipline engineering design basis, philosophies, and technical specifications
- Participate in finalizing deliverables lists and deliverables, ensuring compliance with specifications and functional integrity
- Review project schedule and fabrication schedule in relation to construction sequence, milestones, and engineering scope
- Attend project kickoff and review meetings, vendor meetings, engineering meetings and offshore site surveys, as required
- Provide technical direction and review of Designers producing products related to Flow Assurance Engineering

- Assist procurement personnel in procuring Discipline equipment, materials and services; ensuring that work produced complies with Customer objectives and procedures. Procurement assistance includes preparing, reviewing, and (as Lead Engineer) approving requisitions, evaluating technical quotations and preparing queries, compiling bid tabulations and recommendations, preparing purchase requisitions, and coordinating with Procurement to expedite vendor documents, as directed by Discipline Lead Engineer
- Assist in updating weight report based on receipt of vendor information
- Review and (as Lead Engineer) approve vendor and subcontractor submittals, checking for compliance with project specifications and providing comments as necessary
- Review and (as Lead Engineer) approve design verification through single-discipline check / inter- discipline check (IDC)
- Provide technical support to fabrication queries, including identifying defect / rectification requirements
- Keep the Discipline Manager and Project Management Team apprised of all activities and concerns, technical, budgetary and manpower related
Assist in providing inputs for actual, planning and forecasting progress reports including associated productivity - Check final subcontractor and vendor data manuals to ensure that all requested data has been received and approved
- Present issues and problems to Customers in a timely manner and assist Lead Engineer in negotiating resolution in accordance with project and company requirements
- Perform (as required) Technical Quality Audit reviews in accordance with Global Procedures
- Assist Lead Engineer with responses to Customer and other agencies (such as certifying authorities, auditors, third parties, etc.) on their review and approval
- Guide less experienced engineers on Discipline procedures, standards, worksheets, design calculations, software, requisitions, technical bid evaluations, technical queries, etc.
- Supervise and guide assigned engineers and coordinate with project Lead Designers for Discipline engineering and design deliverables

- Optimization of subsea field layout architecture
- Steady state thermal and hydraulic analyses
- Transient thermal and hydraulic analyses
- Transient liquid line surge analyses
- Liquid system surge analyses
- Transient gas line packing/un-packing and depressurization analyses
- When acting as Lead Engineer, in addition:
- Act as project-based Discipline point of contact in communications and meetings with Customer counterparts
- Ensure substantive communications are documented
- Prepare bid's and project's Discipline engineering budget and execution plans, updating as required
- Identify project staff needs based on knowledge of individual engineer's skill sets and provide requests to the Discipline manager
- Plan, organize and assign tasks, responsibilities, and manhour budgets to the discipline team, and verify tasks are completed within budgets
- Plan Discipline Level 4 detail deliverable schedule/ register compliant with the overall execution plan
- Prepare working forecasts identifying change management plans, corrective action and real- time schedule
- Provide Discipline inputs for actual, planning and forecasting progress reports including associated productivity
- Alert project team of any deviation from the scope or a need for change order
- Monitor KPI measurement results, and take corrective action as necessary to improve Discipline performance, including performance at interfaces with others
- Coordinate with other Discipline Lead Engineers and Designers to ensure timely receipt of necessary design inputs
- Review and approve requisitions, technical quotation evaluations and queries, compiled bid tabulations and recommendations, and purchase requisitions; and coordinate with Procurement to expedite vendor documents as required
- Lead the Discipline team during project audits (internal, Customer and third party technical audits) and Design Reviews
- Review comments from Customers & other agencies on documents and drawings produced by the team, and resolve and give guidance on their update and incorporation
- Assist Discipline manager in the preparation of quarterly forecasts and manpower planning
- Anticipate project engineering needs and plan accordingly
- Coordinate with vendor for discipline managed/procured items
- Assist Discipline manager and Project Engineering Manager or Project Manager in Performance Evaluation of project team members
- Manage own time to meet objectives, and (as Lead Engineer) forecast and plan resource requirements
- Clearly communicate and explain difficult concepts and persuade others to adopt a point of view
- Perform detailed flow assurance analyses, determining solutions for related problems
- When acting as Lead Engineer, in addition:
- Direct small or medium Flow Assurance Engineering team as a Lead Engineer
- Lead the Discipline engineering design of the assigned work area and complete within planned schedule and budget, in accordance with standards and project-specific procedures and to a high professional standard
- Plan, organize and direct all aspects of Discipline execution on the assigned project including scope, deliverables, schedule and all manpower resources - agree allocations with the Discipline Manager
- Ensure interfaces and deliverables are clearly identified
- Maintain responsibility for progress and productivity, identifying any required corrective action.
- Act as project representative for the Discipline during meetings with Project Team, Customer discipline lead and relevant agencies such as certifying authorities, auditors, third parties, etc.
- 10+ years in oil and gas with major contractor or consultant predominantly performing detail design of offshore facilities
- Bachelor Degree in Chemical, Mechanical or Petroleum Engineering
- Detailed knowledge of design techniques and analysis methods, and detailed knowledge of the theory, content and application of standards, codes and guidelines as applicable for offshore
- Knowledgeable in project coordination and execution skills
- Has developed advanced knowledge of the flow assurance principles, tools and solutions
- BS Degree holders would have pursued at least some graduate level engineering course work, if not working toward MS Degree, or attended advanced technical seminars
