Airswift is currently recruiting for a Lead Process Engineer who will work for an international energy company in Paris or London for a 12 months renewable contract starting as soon as possible: 

The service holder is starting from the FEED phase sanction with the possibility to continue to the EPC phase until the completion of the Development phase including Project close-out. The offshore subsea gas pipeline will be tied into the greenfield onshore Central Processing Facility (CPF) for Gas Condensate separation and compression. The service holder will lead process discipline for the CPF facility during FEED preparation and execution. The service holder may also be involved in the current pre-feed extension studies. The Service Holder will be as well deeply involve in the FEED scope of work preparation until FEED sanction. During FEED, the service holder will be in charge of the performance of the FEED CTR on time and on budget FEED deliverable submission for her or his scope of work and as well actively participate in the EPC CFT preparation. The Service Holder willl have numerous interfaces with other disciplines and entities including the partner BP at the Sangachal main facilities and the Azeri TSO for the AzerEnerji Grid connection to the CPS plant electrical substation.

Service holder shall adher to the Company Code of Conduct, Vision, Values and Behaviors, as supported by the Safe System of Working including Accountability of Safety. The service holder will perform this work in accordance with JOCAP and Project rules, guidelines and procedures

The service holder must possess strong experience in Process discipline in particular Gas Processing facilities and MEG regeneration for onshore plant.

The Service holder shall:
? lead the process studies, design and ensure compliance to project specifications of the CPF for the FEED studies and then during EPC phases
? To ensure the correct definition of the reference framework applied to the studies, the correct definition/identification of the list of deliverables expected at the end of the study, in line with the desired estimation class,
? To carry out or participate in the Value Engineering necessary to optimize the technical engineering, make it coherent before entering the FEED or EPC phases,
? To ensure adequate inputs for the LLI definitions and associated CFT
? To ensure process deliverables are of high quality for EPC CFT
? To promote proven engineering solutions to ensure the safety, operation and maintenance of installations; support innovative solutions when they lead to CAPEX and/or OPEX optimizations,
? To participate in technical reviews, HAZID, HAZOP, workshops, ad hoc meeting as appropriate
? To ensure the timely review of the FEED contractor process documents and ensure timely review and approval of the deliverables.
? Identify, monitor and expedite interfaces with other packages development that may affect the discipline
? To contribute to the tendering process, Exhibits preparation and participate in technical clarifications phase for his or her discipline
? To ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices. ? Ensure any technical query and deviation requests are accurately monitored, replied to, and expedited in an appropriate timeframe
? To ensure close communication and reporting to FEED CPF ENGINEERING LEAD and CPF package manager about the progress of his or her discipline, any technical issue or blocking points in a timely manner.
? Provide process documentation and operating instructions. Create, configure and develop industrial processes.

The Absheron Conventional Gas & Condensates field is located offshore Azerbaijan Republic in the Caspian Sea in 500 meters depth, at about 100km southeast of Baku, 25km north-east of Shah Deniz field and 34km south of Oil Rocks production and processing facilities. The project aims at supplying natural gas for both domestic market via Sangachal main facilities (condensate) and for international export market via the South Caucasus Pipeline (SCP).

Responsibilities

As a Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for engineering and procurement services for brownfields projects at Woodside’s onshore gas facilities – Karratha Gas Plant and Pluto LNG Park – and includes project management & engineering, detailed engineering & drafting, project services including project controls, procurement & contracts, and field engineering and commissioning. You will bring your years of structural engineering expertise to join a high-performing team who will value your diverse background and innovative thinking, which suits brownfield projects, both external corrosion projects as well as expansion projects with the Woodside team.

 

Role Responsibilities:

  • Reporting to the Lead Structural Engineer, support the delivery of technical engineering deliverables that meet customer and applicable statutory and regulatory specifications, on time and within budget.
  • Responsible for design and documentation of steel and concrete structures.
  • Prepare structural design calculations for WEL KGP brownfield works, including Design of pipe support, Cable ladder support, Equipment footing, Structure footing, Concrete slab design, Modification of steelwork in existing structures, Integrity checks of existing structures.
  • Attend site inspections and assist in vendor management.
  • Perform supporting tasks such as:
    • Participate in relevant meetings, prepare progress reports, and follow required checking procedures.
    • Identify changes to the Lead Structural Engineer as per project change management processes.
    • Gather data from multiple sources and prepare engineering studies, analyses, and calculations.
    • Support technical development of solutions and recommendations and create final documentation for project deliverables.
    • Assist in coordinating multidisciplinary scopes.
    • Present designs and run design review meetings within the team and with the client.
    • Prepare material requisitions and Scope of Works.
    • Participate in bid clarifications, conduct bid evaluations, complete inter-discipline vendor information review and approval, and finalize certification activities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Structural/Civil Engineering with relevant experience in structural engineering design in brownfield mining and/or oil & gas industry.
  • Familiar with Australian design codes including AS3600, AS4100, and AS1170.
  • Previous experience in performing site inspections is advantageous.
  • Ability to undertake short-term travel to site.
  • Keen attitude to learn new design tools and project delivery modes.
  • Experience working in diverse teams and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Highly driven with a focus on delivery and service.
  • Sound knowledge of applicable local and international standards, statutory, and regulatory requirements.
  • Knowledge of Woodside standards and systems is desirable but not essential.
  • Agile with working in multiple platforms and environments, including the use of the 365 suite and other collaboration tools.

  • Conduct reviews of technical specifications, drawings and technical documents to ensure they reflect the engineering requirements and comply with regulatory and international standards
  • Assess technical deviations and recommend decisions in their specific discipline
  • Assist in the coordination of quality assurance / quality control functions in the section / division.
  • Support in project cost analysis to accurately estimate costs.
EXPERIENCE:
  • 8 years’ experience in the area of specialization (Static Equipment, Combustion Equipment, Package Equipment), within Oil and Gas industry, of which 3 years’ are in project management team role.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Airswift is seeking for Vessel Lead (Diving/ROV) to work in Qatar with a major Oil & Gas Company. 
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Sat & Air Diving Supervisor certification from the IMCA or equivalent
  • Diving Supervisor certification from the IMCA or equivalent
  • OPITO approved BOSIET and Medical for offshore assignment
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Implementing the Construction Surveillance Program for subsea operation and installation to confirm that construction activities are compliant related approved specifications and procedures; work procedure, QHSE documents etc.
  • Assist  share resources team and PMT  with planning, procedure review and technical support of matters involving diving and ROV operation.
  • Assist  share resources team and PMT  with planning, procedure review and technical support of matters involving Subsea installation, and flexible product installation. 
  • Conducts ROVs spread, diving plant and equipment audits ensuring all relevant certification and audits are in date, and that any closeout actions from audits have been carried out.
  • Acts as the focal point between the operator and the contractor particularly for offshore SIMOPS and PTW interface.
  • Trained and qualified as COMPANY host for endorsing PTW
  • Promote COMPANY safety and quality expectations at worksite
  • Participates in the development of all work documents to ensure that all parties have a clear understanding of diving (SAT/Air)  and ROV activities
  • Stewards in the management of change process and is the Company point of contact on the worksite for all site queries./ MOC
  • Responsible for the emergency response and incident reporting for DCIs and treatment protocols.
  • Undertakes daily walk-through observations of operational areas, to check on progress, safety and housekeeping.
  • Attend daily vessel progress meeting with EPC contractor and PMT morning call
  • Ensures that any events evaluated during Risk assesment processes, or that are raised during safety meetings, are stewarded and closed prior to the start of each critical scope.
  • Keep detail dairy covering offshore activities and contribute to project lesson learnt program.
  • Participate in root cause investigation and  incident investigation for diving and ROV activities
  • Be the accountable person for the safety, health, environment and security for all aspects of the execution of the work scope on the offshore vessels.
  • Oversee EPC contractor worksite requirement on  documentation and reporting.
EXPERIENCE:
  • Minimum 15 years’ experience in offshore commercial diving (Saturation & Air Diving) and ROV operation, of which at least 5 years as CSR onboard DP2 DSV / CSV.
  • Experience performing Diving System Assurance Audits to the IMCA D 023/24 standard and ROV System Assurance Audits to the IMCA R006
  • Broad knowledge on international ROV and diving standards and regulations.
  • Up to date knowledge on industry subsea installation and repair techniques.
  • Good experience with Cable / Umbilical lay installation from DP2 DSV / CSV
  • Broad knowledge of execution methods and risks associated with offshore greenfield and brownfield modifications and working within a gas production facility.

We’re looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our client (Tier-1 EPCM) in Perth. 
This will be a 12-months initial contract, with a view to convert to permanent staff. The role will be based in Perth office, Monday – Friday office hours. 
As a Senior Electrical Engineer you will be responsible for driving and delivering safe and sustainable ‘fit for purpose’ electrical engineering services for the Resources Portfolio group. You may be working on multiple projects dependent on their size across various Resource clients.

What you’ll do

The role responsibilities include:
  • Delivering HV & LV electrical detailed designs 
  • Preparing and overseeing the production of detailed deliverables such as drawings, specifications, scopes of work, calculations, technical reports, datasheets, tender documentation, requisitions, estimates, budgets and schedules for scope variation and technical queries.
  • Conducting appropriate studies/optioneering of solutions, analyses and recommendation of suitable actions
  • Undertaking tender bid evaluations
  • Providing input and advice during procurement, construction and commissioning activities.
  • Champion the reviewing and checking process to ensure technical integrity of all deliverables are met.

What you’ll have
  • An Australian recognised Bachelor qualification in electrical and/or power engineering.
  • Eligible for membership with Engineers Australia.
  • Experience working on brownfield sustaining capital projects in the Mining and Resource industry in WA (minimum 5 years in a recent role highly desirable).
  • Experience across the phases of engineering projects from feasibility/conceptual studies through to detailed design and execution.
  • Experience with materials handling systems including conveyors, stockyards, material screening, reclaimers, stackers, etc.
  • Willingness to attend site for short stints from time to time for project familiarisation, data collection, asset assessments, inspections, and site construction/commissioning support.
  • Very good understanding of arc flash hazard assessment and calculations in line with IEEE1584:2018.

Job Description: 
The prime responsibility of this position will be to manage the SPID Application for use in various projects and activities. This includes data assurance conforms to Company specifications, perform claims and merges of relevant data, review and implement database and symbol change requests, review output reports for consistency and provide support and training to users. He/she will be involved in the transition and implementation of Company SPID data to Company Base Business.
SPID Administration:

Job Specification and requirements:

Our Engineering & Construction Business Unit is looking for a Principal Engineer – Switchyard to join their team in Juno Beach, FL in a Remote assignment.


Responsibilities include:

  • All assigned substation projects from conception (Early Stage) through construction and commissioning (Execution).
  • In the conceptual phase, you will work with the Early-Stage Project Manager to support the engineering requirements and scope with the Development Group.
  • Training, due diligence, and technical oversight of external engineers of record (EOR) for all assigned switchyard projects to ensure compliance with required generation interconnection agreements, transfer agreements, scope of work documents, project specifications, site specific design requirements, IEEE, NESC, ASCE and all other applicable industry codes and standards.
  • Securing engineering consulting resources from a list of approved suppliers by developing a scope of work, securing bids, evaluating, and awarding work through NEER’s Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) Group.
  • Coordinate with other project stakeholders as well as transmission owners to develop and secure a switchyard site, support any engineering updates, data and permits necessary to design and build the switchyard.
  • Competitively source, select and contracting geotechnical, survey, engineering, and construction services, and supporting the E&C Cost Estimating Team with scope assumptions.
  • Coordination with other groups to ensure that the assigned E&C switchyard projects are successful. Generally responsible for representing E&C’s internal and external interests on assigned projects, including presentations/briefing on current progress, issues, and risk mitigation in meetings with various levels of management.
  • Support Transmission Services during review of interconnection documentation including system impact studies, facility studies, reactive and harmonic studies and Interconnection agreements and ensures that Transmission Owner requirements and E&C engineering design are consistent and in compliance with all ISO requirements and incorporated into the project design.
  • Must be able to work with and communicate often to the respective transmission owners/operators/ISOs to ensure project deliverables will meet specific off-taker requirements, are timely and accurate.

  • Assists ISC with all switchyard project SOW creation, review, approval, and preparation of shopping carts for engineering services and materials in a timely manner.

  • Ensures projects are efficiently, cost effectively and safely implemented in accordance with department process, procedures, industry standards and policies.

Job Responsibilities

Our EPC contractor client are recruiting for a Senior Project Manager – HVDC Converters, to support project development phase with technical expertise in HVDC Converters and PMC.  Based in their Brentford office on a 6 month initial contract.

Key Responsibilities and background:
Renewable generation (PV & wind), battery storage, onshore distribution and transmission systems, MV & HV substations, HVDC converter stations, and offshore DC links will be viewed as a single integrated system that has to perform in the most demanding conditions for a power system.
  • Technical, commercial assurance expertise that covers the project development in all critical areas to adequately support project deliverables.
  • Adopting an integrated power system mindset will reduce the potential for repetitive iterations in the Development Phase in relation to engineering activities, which will include sizing, designing, simulations, testing, and verifications.
  • The responsible SPM shall ensure that all power system components from generation site to interface connection with the UK will be suitable for and operate as an integrated power system.
  • Support and lead to client investors that the designed power system can maintain the security, stability, and continuity of power supply.

Key requirements:
  • Implementation of a legislative and regulatory framework for the system on generation site side, with clear technical parameters defined for an island operation to substitute the normal grid codes applicable to interconnected systems.
  • The interconnection with the UK National Grid will follow the conventional UK legislation and grid code. Ensure the project specifications are met in full and should any deviations arise, these will be enacted upon with a proposed solution.
  • Select the PV systems, wind turbines, and battery systems, and their size. Ensuring that their power converters, which act as interfaces with the system, perform as expected in the designed system.
  • Sizing the battery system will be made in a dynamic way as it plays the most significant role in maintaining the stability and security of the system.
  • Design for the power cables, MV and HV substations, distribution, and transmission system follows, with the design of the HVDC converters and offshore DC cables being performed in parallel.
  • Provide expertise for the cost-benefit analysis, design process, safety in design, RAM study, power system simulations, manufacturing, testing, installation, and commissioning.
  • Oversee that control systems are in place to demonstrate that the designed system is capable of secure and reliable operation.
  • Familiarity and interpretation of power system studies performed to demonstrate that the designed system meets technical requirements and expectations.
  • Understanding EMS/SCADA system with a proper cyber security philosophy

Skills/Qualifications:
  • BSc/BEng qualified in Electrical or Controls/Instrumentation discipline.
  • Chartered Engineer and Member of the relevant institution
  • Substantial experience in the power industry on projects relevant to this type of project, and with demonstrable ability to operate at Senior Project Manager level.

The main function is to be responsible for the development of the Category strategy in view of increasing client competitiveness and actively participating to business development.

Responsibilities:

  • In order that the Category Strategy meets both company strategic objectives, and future project and operations requirements, you are to:
    • Define the roadmap of future technological requirements for the category based on continuous collaboration with Group Engineering, Group Technology and strategic vendors.
    • Conduct market analysis in collaboration with other discipline stakeholders to finalize the strategy to meet future project requirements.
    • Understand the requirements of the Product Lines and engage in/facilitate technical & execution related discussions with the vendors to ensure that category strategy is aligned with the Product Line requirements.
    • Lead the preparation and finalization of deliverables associated to your category (Approved Vendor List (AVL), Framework Agreements (FA), Spend analysis and other deliverables that may be required by the Product Line)
    • Define Category performance objectives and translate them into vendor management and strategic sourcing objectives
    • Lead the vendor qualification activities for the vendors identified as strategic in your category.
  • In order that projects and operations receive the benefits identified in the Category Strategy, you are to:
    • Support the definition and implementation of the Project Procurement Strategy (PPS):
    • Leverage the vendor network to build competitive advantages (eg strategic relationship) and assist in initiating pre-agreements during the win phase
    • Provide direct support to the negotiation with vendors for key packages / services, as required.
    • Ensure that best practices / lessons learned are captured, formalized, shared and implemented for continuous improvement – acting as memory keeper.
    • Lead the drafting of generic Quality Control Plans (QCP) for the equipment related to your category based on multi-disciplinary approach
    • Serve as SC Group expert for your category and be recognized as focal point by the key stakeholders (Proposal, Engineering, Construction, Operations, Project Management) to provide assistance for any project/operations issues related to your category.
  • In order that category performance achieves the Group SC objectives, you are to:
    • Ensure compliance with category sourcing strategy during Win, Execute and Operate phases
    • Measure and monitor the contracted savings from the implementation of the category strategy
    • Monitor and report the SC KPIs for the category (e.g. savings, % of spend under group framework agreements)
  • In order to develop and nurture a sustainable collaboration with strategic vendors and achieve agreed improvement objectives in terms of quality, price, reliability and/or capability you are to:
    • Act as the single point of contact for communication with the vendor
    • Increase SBM attractiveness in order to achieve greater value (e.g. innovation, specific investments)
    • Monitor vendor’s load level, capacity and investment plans
    • Identify risks & opportunities related to the vendor (e.g. merging & acquisition) and anticipate any changes impacting the vendor relationship strategy
    • Define the Vendor Relationship Strategy, engage and mobilize the vendor to get the most out of the relationship
    • Provide support to Project & Operations teams when the relationship with the vendor is at risk (e.g. dispute & claims resolution, manufacturing performance, slot allocation)
Required Skills:
  • Piping expert
  • Commercial Profile - Negotiator - Contractual Negotiation
  • Full understanding of the O&G Technical Standards for critical steel grades
  • Strong knowledge of European and Chinese market
  • 15 years experience in Piping Procurement role in EPCI company or Sales engineer/Project Manager at Vendors
  • Construction Site or Manufacturing plant experience would be a plus

  • Monitors operation of VRU systems; receives 24-hour radio/mobile telephone notices from answering service; decides on appropriate/best response.
