Airswift is currently recruiting for a Lead Planning Engineer who will work in Paris for a global energy company.
This is a 12 months renewable contract and you will focus on a complex and key FPSO project for the company.
As a Lead Planning Engineer, you will be responsible for all the scheduling, planning and progress measurement activities for the Subsea package (SPS, SURF), and for the reporting at project level all along the course of the Project.
As such, you will be in charge of:
• Supervising, controlling and coordinating the activities related to Work Packages scheduling and planning and progress measurement; this includes active participation to project integrated project schedule during the Execution phase.
• Developing and maintaining schedules at Package level, with analysis of critical path and potential clashes and proposal of remedial actions/solutions.
• Ensuring availability at all times of an updated and accurate scheduling and progress measurement documentation.
• Ensuring reporting at Package level (issue of Weekly reports, Monthly Status Report...). The Services holder shall liaise actively with all the Package team leaders for all scheduling and progress measurement related activities. The Role
This position will be responsible to provide technical support to ensure the functionality, maintenance, and integrity of all process control network systems and infrastructure within the operations environment.
Ideal candidates should have relevant experience in Operational Technology, Network Management and Operations and IT Infrastructure with core knowledge of cyber security, networking (experience in Industrial Switches will be a plus). Responsibilities

Requirements
You will be an experienced engineer, ideally with a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or related field with 5 years of relevant experience in the energy industry.
It is expected that you can demonstrate significant experience working in an operational technology role with high level expertise working with Process Control Networks (PCN) in resources sector company. Additionally, these experiences below will be vital:
- Extensive experience in network configuration and deployment within oil and gas operations, maintenance, and projects.
- Experience with the full project life cycle, from concept development through execution and operation, with an understanding of factors impacting total cost of ownership.
- Over 5 years of combined experience in systems design, in-house engineering, field delivery, commissioning, maintenance, and full project lifecycle completion across varying technical complexities and scales.
- In-depth expertise in configuring network switches, firewalls, routers (Dual MPLS Nodes), system network architecture, VPN, and PCN networks.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide leadership and strategic direction for project interface activities across projects. Ensure that project interfaces are aligned with the organization's goals and strategic objectives.
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and standards for effective project interface management.
- Identify and manage risks or issue associated with project related interface, within the project and with other COMP CTR and developing mitigation strategies as needed. Ensure that potential conflicts between projects are identified and resolved in a timely manner.
- Ensure all projects and operations comply with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards. Liaise with regulatory bodies to obtain necessary permits, approvals, and ensure ongoing compliance. Monitor changes in regulations and ensure the organization is prepared to meet new requirements.
- Manage the integration of projects, ensuring that interdependencies are identified and managed effectively including the potential for simultaneous operations (SIMOPS). Lead interface management efforts, providing interface support to engineering studies executed by technical team and external stakeholders. Ensure that project deliverables are aligned and integrated across various projects.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for senior-level stakeholders regarding project interface issues. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and internal teams. Facilitate communication between project teams and stakeholders to ensure transparency and alignment.
- Monitor the progress of project interfaces, ensuring that any issues are addressed proactively. Attend monthly critical interface meeting with Compression Shared organization and provide update on any critical interfaces can jeopardies overall NFPS program.
- Ensure complex tasks are completed within the multi-cultural project environment as per agreed plan.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to project interface activities. Prepare and present regular reports to senior management on the status of project interfaces.
- 12 years of experience in a project execution related environment with broad experience of projects, engineering, and operations.
- Proven experience in managing large, complex projects and interfaces.
- Strong understanding of project lifecycle management and interdependencies.

Job Description:
Conduct survey operations to ensure accurate stacking and fixing of construction facilities and drilled wells. Perform surveys and calculations to create a control network and conduct drilling pad surveys, office processing of survey data, develop drawings, and create as-built documents. Survey control of industrial facilities and drilled wells during construction and operation periods. Collaborate, control, and consult with other specialists during the course of work. Providing job instructions. Ensure compliance with SNiP and maintain and preserve survey markers. Supervise surveyors and survey technicians during field surveys. Review drawings, conduct site visits, perform detailed reconnaissance surveys, and sign excavation permits. Constantly update general drawing data for all Company facilities. Ensure quality and timeliness of work. Review and sign the Act of Acceptance of As-Built Drawings. Request and receive necessary information and documents from structural subdivisions. Regularly check job sites to ensure all excavation works are carried out within the dedicated area. Constantly update underground and aboveground utilities data in AutoCAD drawing for all Company facilities.
Job Specification and requirements: Education: Higher (technical). Work experience: No less 3 years. Language skills: Achieve or exceed English level 3 on Company proficiency scale.PC skills: Knowledge and ability to use computer in day to day work, proficient with Microsoft Office. Purpose:
You will provide engineering support for the design of substation facilities for voltages up to and including 765 kV for as an integral part of the Power Networks team. This includes new substations and switchyards, modifications, additions and upgrades to existing facilities.
Responsibilities:
Independently perform tasks that typically include:
- Substation physical design including overall engineering and analysis for new switchyards and substations, additions and modifications
- Preparation of specifications and provide procurement support
- Preparation of engineering drawings including layout and general arrangements for all major equipment and structures required for high voltage switchyards or substation. Drawings include site plans, plan and elevation views, grounding, conduit, lighting, lightning protection and shielding, control building arrangements and details, AC station service, DC systems and Bills of Material.
- Perform auxiliary electrical power system studies including load flow, short circuit, voltage drop, protection and coordination, ampacity, and battery sizing studies.
- Perform substation grounding calculations and studies, lightning protection and insulation coordination, lighting, bus calculations, transformer and bus sizing calculations, fault calculations, and AC and DC auxiliary system sizing calculations.
- Perform proposal preparation, proposal estimates, and provide input to scope documents and client presentations
- Work in a team-oriented environment with ability to work independently or as part of a group when and as required
- Responsible for the quality assurance of the documents for the company and client standards
- Commitment to Customer service and ability to work independently on more varied and complex tasks when required
- Supervise/coordinate other engineers of equal and lesser experience to successfully deliver a project. Provides technical direction to subordinate team members.

Technical and Industry Experience:
- 12+ years of experience in substation engineering
- Highly effective technical and practical engineering skills and ability to consistently deliver quality, accurate and timely work
- A sound knowledge of the fundamental requirements of the electrical engineering, and the basic requirements of other engineering fields
- A sound knowledge of applicable local and international standards and statutory and regulatory requirements
- Competent use of electrical engineering specific software
- Competent use of relevant software such as MS Office Suite
- Substantial technical land practical experience in electrical engineering in the same or similar industry including experience in working in multi-disciplinary projects and teams
- Experience working in project leadership role
- Experience in estimating project costs and writing proposal content
- Ideal candidate should have strong interpersonal and written communication skills that permit working efficiently alongside other senior substation engineers and designers in a team setting

MISSION:
The Service Supplier will participate actively in the Cost Control activities of one package (FPSO, SURF, SPS, Drilling) of B58 Suriname Project.
The Service holder will advise the Project Control Manager / Lead, as needed, and support the Project in all matters regarding the Cost Control structure, Cost Control procedures, Cost Control reporting and practices using the Cost Control tools (SAP, U-COST tool or similar).
Part of the Service will include, but not be limited to, preparing, analyzing, processing, and presenting all information and documentation related to the Project costs and expenditures, in close liaison with the Project Control Manager / Lead.
The service holder shall be very familiar with costs estimation processes, actuals, accruals, provision, forecast notions within a multi-year, multi-currency Project environment. The service holder shall always compare initial budget, previous status to current forecast, justify the associated gaps with the support of the technical teams, The service holder shall highlight and escalate any issues presented regarding Budgeting and Costs and propose any mitigation action whenever needed / identified.
