Background

Banyu Urip Project Cepu block is located in the border areas of Central Java (Cepu) and East Java (Bojonegoro) in Indonesia.

Challenge

The project required mobilisation of the commissioning workforce to be executed compliantly with full relocation services provided. Further support would be needed for requirement, vendor management and catering of a specialised and multi-cultural local and expatriate workforce.

  • Placed more than 200 contractors over a six-month period, while ensuring 61% local content with a 1:2 fill rate (CV submissions:Placements)
  • Maintained a seven-day average time-to-hire from request to contract administration
  • Managed 25 vendors, including accommodation, ground transport, catering, PPE and tooling
  • Maintained an average time-to-mobilise of 20 days, from contract administration to boots on the ground
  • Booked over 4,900 flights
  • Processed over 7,000 payments with a 98% invoice accuracy
  • Managed pressures of ramping up and ramping down project manning schedules
  • Invoiced a total value of US$11.4 million
