Background

Our client is a French industrial engineering contractor and equipment manufacturer operating in the environment, energy, defence and high technology sectors.


Challenge

Our client was looking for experienced project managers directly within the nuclear industry, preferably with international experience and the ability to manage multiple projects. The key responsibility of the role includes management of a major project from design stage through to realization and commissioning of nuclear systems and relevant equipment.

Due to the sensitivity of the project, candidates needed to be aware of the perception in the industry of the project and be able to work in a highly confidential manner. Additionally, the client preferred a candidate based in France with the ability to relocate.


Airswift Solution

Airswift was engaged to start the search with the initial process covering three weeks. An interactive talent map of the French nuclear industry was provided, which included candidates with the skills and experience for the role. These candidates were also approached confidentially to gauge their current career, remuneration package, motivations to move (if any) and take them through a full qualification process.


Results

A longlist of 50 candidates was provided to the client following the research and mapping process. From this list, six candidates were selected for initial interview and two candidates were successfully hired.
