Responsibilities:
- Report to a highly approachable General Manager and develop a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue and market share objectives within the Aerospace sector.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new sales opportunities. Lead negotiations to secure contracts, pricing agreements, and other terms, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Manage the sales department budget, build, and lead a team of sales professionals, and provide guidance to achieve sales targets.
- Ensure all sales activities comply with industry standards, legal regulations, and company policies. Implement quality assurance measures to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Minimally a bachelor’s degree in any field with proven experience in sales and business development within the aerospace industry.
- In-depth knowledge of special metals (Aerospace Grade), aircraft components, new technologies, and market dynamics.
- Strong communication, negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills to interact with various stakeholders at all levels.
- Leadership experience with the ability to build, lead, and motivate a sales team.
- Proficiency in sales and CRM software.
- Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings and industry events.
- Understanding of relevant aerospace regulations and compliance requirements.
