Job Description:
- Register purchase requests and gather requirements.
- Benchmark potential suppliers for the project in France and abroad, in compliance with
respecting VCGP quality, safety and ethical standards. - Drawing up and validating bidder lists.
- Validate the budget and required delivery dates in accordance with the schedule and the
project manager. - Launch calls for tender for materials, equipment, services and subcontracting.
- Obtain quotations and clarify prices and deadlines work with the technician to check and validate technical verification and validation Follow up requests for clarification.
- Check and negotiate contractual and commercial conditions (price-guarantees-payment-indemnity clause or incoterm).
- Obtain the technical comparison table from the engineer.
- Draw up the commercial comparison table for approval.
- Co-ordinate with the legal department and contract engineers on all contractual negotiations
terms and conditions. - Prepare the contract for approval by the procurement manager and issue the contract.
- Draw up purchase orders and launch KoMs.
- Monitoring orders through to commissioning, reporting and communicating with project logistics
with project logistics and all cross-functional players. - Initiate and coordinate inspections, where applicable.
- Check supplier invoices for conformity and forward them to the accounting department.
- List suppliers in the database.
Qualifications:
- Bac + 2 minimum.
- Business school / business engineer.
- Purchasing training.
- Between 2- and 5-years’ experience.
- English essential.
- Experience as a project buyer.
- Energy sector a plus.
- Ideally have a technical background in general mechanical engineering.
- Proven negotiation skills.
- Mastery of an ERP system and the office pack.
- Mastery of commercial law and customs regulations.
- Knowledge of the various tendering procedures.
- Autonomy and organisational skills.
- Mastery of negotiation techniques.
- Mastery of purchasing, stock and distribution management techniques.
