Responsibilities:
- Oversee the current data quality workflow and develop new ones as necessary, acting as the key user for data management tools in the department and collaborating with headquarters for any required improvements.
- Mentor data stewards in establishing Data Quality Management (DQM), including the creation of dashboards and KPIs, and lead initiatives to enhance data quality.
- Support the head of data management in tracking and evaluating Data Quality KPIs.
- Identify data management challenges and assist data stewards with performing Root Cause Analysis.
- Recommend changes to Data Governance processes to the head of data management for approval by relevant stakeholders or escalation to higher authorities.
- Advocate for Data Management best practices and track progress using the organization's maturity assessment framework.
- Contribute to the evolution project plan for the upcoming year, to be collaboratively developed with the team.
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of Data Management concepts, with relevant certification (e.g., DMBok, CDMP).
- Experience with Continuous Improvement and Root Cause Analysis, preferably in the context of Data Quality Management.
- Good understanding of the specific industry and its operations.
- Awareness of data’s unique role in bridging the gap between business and IT functions.
- Knowledge of the importance of fit-for-purpose data and Data Quality Management in digital transformation.
- Proficiency in business-level English; knowledge of additional languages such as Danish, Norwegian, and/or French is a plus.
