Airswift is seeking a Data Scientist to work in a permanent contract in Rio de Janeiro with a major Oil & Gas Company.
This professional will be responsible for defining, implementing and monitoring efficiency and performance metrics and KPIs for the company's engineering team. This role is crucial to guaranteeing the continuous improvement of processes and the delivery of projects within the established quality standards and deadlines.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Developing and maintaining performance dashboards using Power BI or other BI tools.
Program and automate data collection using Python or R, ensuring the accuracy and availability of information.
Collaborate with engineering teams to understand their data needs and provide actionable insights.
Define and track KPIs that reflect the department's efficiency and performance objectives.
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and implement data-driven solutions.
Prepare and present regular reports to leadership, providing a clear view of the team's performance.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Graduation in Engineering, Computer Science or related areas.
Fluent English
Proven experience with Power BI or other BI tools.
Proficiency in Python or R, with experience in manipulating and analyzing large data sets.
Knowledge in underwater engineering will be considered an advantage.
Experience with agile, SCRUM and Lean methodologies is casual.
