Duration: 6-month contract starting early September 2024
Role Overview: We are seeking a seasoned Environmental Engineer to join our team in Lyon. The successful candidate will engage in projects requiring a high level of expertise in environmental engineering, specifically focusing on the environmental impact of industrial activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and review environmental concepts including carbon footprint assessments.
- Conduct Environmental Impact of Effluents (ENVID) reviews and define environmental issues.
- Participate in drainage philosophy discussions and developments.
- Prepare and follow up on documentation, participate in coordination meetings and ensure alignment with project goals.
- Manage project-related documents such as process documents, material balances, and implantation plans.
- In-depth process knowledge base, including proficiency in reading PID, PFD, and material assessment process documents.
- Compliance with SSE rules and active involvement in SSE practices within the work environment.
- Proficiency in English with strong communication skills.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in environmental engineering related to industrial projects.
- Familiarity with QHSE plans and specific project requirements.
- Ability to handle confidential information and adhere to customer contract requirements effectively.
- Experience with standard industry software for document presentation and project management.
- Handling of plans, specifications, and contractual documents of the end customer.
