Brief overview
On behalf of our customers, Airswift is currently recruiting for a Junior Flow Assurance Engineer to be based in Paris and would be on a 6 months contract with the possibility of extension to 12 months. The service holder will be integrated in the process department and perform process engineering activities related to Thermo-hydraulic fluid behaviour for monophase and multiphase fluids. Your scope of responsibilities will encompass engineering projects.
Your range of activity will cover one of the following markets: Oil & Gas, offshore and onshore engineering, green and brown field projects, emerging markets (e.g. CO2 transport).

The application is for a junior engineer interested to acquire a confirmed experience in offshore & onshore flow assurance engineering. Your scope of responsibilities will encompass engineering projects.
Engineering projects:
Your main tasks will be as follows:
  • Model and perform thermo-hydraulic analyses in steady state and during transient phases of complex transport systems with OLGA or LedaFlow software,
  • Recommend operating guidelines to provide field operation support to improve the safety of operations,
  • Prepare technical dossiers including basis of design, calculation notes, etc…
You will liaise and cooperate with other DORIS technical departments such as process, pipeline, subsea production system, etc….
 
Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Engineering degree or equivalent with specialization in fluid mechanics, thermal transfer, thermodynamic, dynamic simulations (ENSIACET, ENSIC, ENSGTI, INSA, UTC, ENSEEIHT...),
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in similar position on offshore & onshore flow assurance engineering for Oil & Gas project,
  • Knowledge in multiphase flow softwares (Pipesim, OLGA, Ledaflow),
  • Knowledge in water hammer modelling software (Pipenet or equivalent),
  • Fluent English – Good written (including report writing) and verbal communication.
