Airswift is working with a leading company for a Flow Assurance Engineer to work in Houston, TX for a 12-month assignment with benefits! 

Responsibilities could include the following:

  • Deliver process engineering services that meet Company, its customers and applicable statutory and regulatory specifications, on time and within budget.
  • Perform flow assurance engineering services such as:
    • Steady state and transient multiphase flow simulations, heat transfer and flash calculations on PC- based software packages (with emphasis on using OLGA & PVTsim).
    • Hydrocarbon fluid characterization.
    • Analyze results of the simulations and recommend optimum hydraulic operating conditions.
    • Identify and report changes to project scope.
    • Assist with the preparation of detailed designs and drawings, specifications, data, calculations, and reports
  • Keep up to date with the latest developments and technical innovations in flow assurance engineering.
  • Communicate effectively with the engineering team and project stakeholders, including Customers.
  • Identify issues and problems, develop appropriate solutions, and ask for assistance when required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • 3+ years of relevant industry experience
  • Effective technical and practical engineering skills and ability to consistently deliver quality, accurate and timely work to Company and its customers.
  • Good working knowledge of the fundamental requirements of process engineering, and the basic requirements of other engineering fields.
  • Strong fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, and mass transfer knowledge
  • Good working knowledge of applicable local and international standards and statutory and regulatory specifications.
  • Engineering experience in the same or similar industry and developing leadership skills.
  • Experience developing machine learning algorithms and data analysis tools.
  • Familiar with CCUS and CO2 transportation modeling concepts
