Airswift is currently recruiting for a Lead Flow Assurance Engineer who will work on a large gas project starting as soon as possible. The position is based in London, although Paris can be considered. 

ACTIVITIES / ACCOUNTABILITIES
The job holders must possess strong experience in pipeline flow assurance and hydraulic calculations. He must has been working as a pipeline simulation engineer. Knowledge of project engineering practices, international codes, standards, procedures, and specifications is a must.
The Job holder shall:
  • Proven Experience in steady-state and transient hydraulic analyses using industry standard software like SPS, PIPENET and PIPESIM.
  • Have the capability to use other Process tools like HYSYS, PVTSIM, and Multiflash.
  • Review and approve flow assurance deliverables (Design Basis, simulations, pipeline design calculation…)
  • Experience in performing surge analysis on liquid lines using simulation tools like SPS.
  • Have full capability to design surge protection systems.
  • Must be able to demonstrate experience in single and multiphase pipelines hydraulic simulation.
  • Familiar with applicable regulations, codes and standards.
  • Work independently and create a positive work environment.
Provide technical leadership to ensure that applicable procedures and standards are followed

  • Follow HSE instructions given by Managers and supervisory personnel

  • Exercise such caution as is necessary to avoid danger to persons and installations or to avoid pollution
  • Use tools, equipment and their safeguards correctly
  • Use the provided means of personal protection correctly
  • Leave the workplace behind correct and orderly, upon job completion – enforce the Company Clean Desk policy
  • Report any anomaly, abnormal conditions and near miss to supervisor
  • Participate actively in HSE meetings, safety talks, tool boxes, training sessions and drills
  • Co-operate actively in the execution of the HSE plans
Authority to suspend activities when there is a potential or actual threat to human life, the installation or the environment, and notify forthwith the responsible supervisor

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE
Minimum Education: Engineer/ bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering or similar
Minimum Experience: 10+ years proven experience in major oil and gas project.
  • Extensive experience in flow assurance in oil and gas project.
  • FEED Experience development.
  • Offshore and operational experience is an advantage
Required Skills /Certifications:
  • Major Oil and Gas project developments knowledge and experience
  • Excellent organizational ability
  • Requires team spirit with ability to work closely with various stakeholders including diverse international teams, vendors & subs, affiliates, HQ, etc.
  • Ability to demonstrate initiative and tenacity and have excellent communication skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing flow assurance issues like solid management (hydrate, wax, scale, sand, asphaltene) and liquid management.
  • Familiarity with thermodynamic and flow simulators and design standards/ codes.
  • High familiarity with flow assurance software is essential, e.g., OLGA, PipeSim, Multiflash.
  • Good understanding of process modelling, e.g., separator, compressor, pump, heat exchanger, and controller. Experience in process dynamic modelling, e.g., HYSYS Dynamic / UNISIM, would be advantageous.
Language Requirements:
  • Fluent English mandatory.
