ICSS & Communication Systems Coordinator – Paris, France
Key responsibilities and main tasks:
Job Holder shall:
• HSE:
o Adopt & demonstrate exemplary behaviour with regard to HSEQ rules & requirements, Company Ethics & “Code of Conduct” policy.
o Participate and assist in the development and implementation of Environmental management System processes in Project
o Develop and conduct any action plan resulting from a degraded or audit card attributed to its discipline.
o Develop the derogation dossiers related to discipline.
o Contribute to report anomalies and incidents and participate in diagnosis and corrective actions
o Ensure that HSE rules are applied by team under his responsibility and follow HSE action plans associated
o Identify opportunities for HSE optimization
o Attend to Service Quality Meeting in aim to set proper action plan to enhance CONTRACTOR HSE performance.
• Review and comment Engineering documents related to ICSS or Instrument discipline
• Review and comment Engineering documents related to SPS control system or Instrument discipline
• Shall point the observed problems in the design out and propose alternative solutions
• Contribute to the definition of the Commissioning strategy.
• Participate when requested to gap analysis between CTRs design and Company Specifications
• Review Operational Test Procedures
• Manage all the ICSS (topside and Subsea) and PLC systems related commissioning activities in the project
• Review all functional analysis including OCWR’s one
• Control the programing of OCWR in Subsea DCS by Subsea CTR
• Attend ICSS, SPS control system and OCWR Factory Acceptance Tests
• Witness commissioning activities and report to Commissioning leader
• Ensure correct reporting of ICSS commissioning activities and follow-up of punch lists.
• Ensure Instrumentations support team cover the obligations in term of maintenance strategy update, performance monitoring, contract and stock strategy.
• Ensure implementation of operation and maintenance strategy based on FO objectives.
• Assess and audit CONTRACTOR procedure managing material repair in workshop are well implemented to secure reliable tracking system, follow-up and progress.
• Ensure CONTRACTOR stock management by technology in line with criticality study, capability to repair and availability objective.
• Review and challenge CONTRACTOR maintenance plan on instrumentation and ICSS and do proposal to reduce downtime and cost to optimize cost VS running hours.
• Secure life cycle management of equipments/ packages; implement studies and action plan to secure maintainability of the plants (obsolescence).
• Optimise OPEX
• Develop periodic reporting activities of the Discipline and follow them
• Is focal point of Head Quarter assistance for the project instrument ICSS and Cyber security.
• Ensure / Control the CONTRACTOR audits as required
• Propose improvements on the maintenance strategy according to Site needs
• Validate the Discipline studies needed to achieve the objectives in terms of availability, maintainability, and equipment operating cost. Elaborate (approve) for the Discipline, the functional specifications related to process modifications.
• Follow Long Lead item required for the execution of the AREA work program are provided on time by the technical support.
• Review CONTRACTOR Contract strategy and develop scope of work accordingly; assist to technical clarification organized by contract support; assist contract engineer in the different tendering stage where technical administrator is required.
• Develop positive and constructive relationships with CONTRACTOR.
• Identify opportunities to improve contractor/supplier performance, reduce costs and improve the quality of services/products supplied.
• Act as technical discipline focal point on specific project/work scopes and contracts
• Evaluate COMPANY personnel. Conduct / supervise training of interns.
• Ensure interfaces with TEPA Entities when required
• Liaise with specialists Discipline Headquarters (TEC/MTH , MIN , …)
• Promote angolanization, as defined by TEPA’s policy, by supervising and assisting junior Angolan engineers
The experience shall include:
• Engineering Bac +5 level with specialization in ICSS or Instrumentation, or equivalent proven experience (Engineer)
• Experience in instrument and ICSS maintenance and management (over 5 years), competence in cyber security, oil production knowledge.
• Reliability, autonomy, analytical, organizational capacity and leadership
• Languages: French or English correct (> 3.5/5)
• Very good knowledge of the instruments system and ICSS in offshore industry.
• Industrial information security system training.
• Good knowledge of GS and CR group
