Elevate Your Career in HSS Coordinator with Airswift
We are seeking a highly skilled HSS Coordinator to join our team on a full-time contract basis. As a member of the ZND Leadership Team, you will play a crucial role in managing the Health, Safety and Security Management System for our project in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea.
Role Overview
- Manage the ZND Team's HSS Management System, ensuring it is up-to-date and fit for purpose.
- Develop and implement an annual training plan in accordance with the HSS Management System.
- Coordinate HSS reporting for the ZND team and ensure timely reporting of incidents.
- Oversee Emergency Response Protocols and Incident Management Response for the team.
- Conduct monthly HSS audits of all operating sites.
- Manage and report on HSES statistics for the ZND Team.
- Collaborate with on-site RSES to enforce permit to work system.
- Monitor use of ZND Dedicated Vehicles.
- Work with HSS advisor to develop Site Specific HSSE plans, JRAs, and JMPs.
- Coordinate with health providers to ensure access to medical services on operating sites.
- Collaborate with external security providers to ensure security at ZND operating sites.
- Review MRFs for chemicals, PPE, and equipment for HSS approval.
- Conduct HSS risk assessments for new activities, areas, and equipment in collaboration with ZND and HSES teams.
- Review 3rd Party Contractors HSES documentation when required.
- Provide monthly POB numbers to HSES team.
- Manage allocation and use of ZND's dedicated vehicle fleet.
- Coordinate with contracted drivers and contractors.
- Ensure regular servicing of fleet vehicles.
- Source additional vehicles from company fleet or 3rd party suppliers when needed.
- Report on monthly kilometers and fuel usage.
- Adhere to company's Code of Conduct and Compliance System at all times.
- Perform other duties as required by BRC/ZND management.
Skills & Qualifications
- Qualification in Operational Safety Management or equivalent experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in Health, Safety, and Security management.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent planning and report writing skills.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Operational Safety Management or equivalent experience preferred.
- ITIL or relevant Microsoft certifications advantageous.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Health, Safety, and Security management.
