The System Design team at this leading organization is responsible for the liquid hydraulic design and analysis of all projects under the Projects organization. This role will involve overseeing pipeline and facility hydraulic design throughout their lifecycle, from planning and design to procurement, construction, and start-up.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct hydraulic studies using modeling software for pipeline and facility systems.
- Provide technical oversight to external consultants to ensure compliance with performance expectations for safety, quality, cost, and schedule.
- Coach junior team members and drive improvements to internal and external design standards.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders to develop optimized designs that balance function, cost, safety, and operational reliability.
- Lead transient modeling activities and value engineering design.
- University degree in Engineering and Professional Engineering designation with APEGA.
- Seven or more years of relevant experience in liquid hydrocarbon pipeline and facility design.
- Expertise in hydraulic modeling and design, familiarity with software such as SPS and Fathom.
- Strong knowledge of relevant codes, regulations, and standards.
- Proven leadership, communication, and technical skills.
