Lead Instrument Designer:
We are currently supporting a major EPC client in The Netherlands and we are currently looking for a Lead instrument Designer who will be responsible for the Instrument design of Offshore floating facilities.
Initial 12 month contract with the scope to be extended and based in Schiedam, Netherlands.
Responsibilities:
- Reporting to Discipline Lead but taking full responsibility for the overall design scope.
- Define the Instrumentation design
- Monitor progress of design and provided technical assistance
- Challenge design process and propose improvements
- Review Documents prepared by sub contractors
- 3D Model Reviews
Qualifications:
- 8 Years or more experience in Instrumentation design
- Offshore Oil & Gas Experience is mandatory
- 3D Design using Aveva
- Interfacing complex mechanical packages such as Gas turbine driven Compressors & Power Generators.
