The Role:
Our client is looking for a skilled Instrumentation Engineer with a strong focus on ATEX compliance. You will be responsible for identifying and resolving issues uncovered during ATEX inspections. The ideal candidate will take ownership of findings and collaborate with internal teams to deliver safe and cost-effective solutions in line with industry standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and resolve findings from ATEX inspections.
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Maintenance teams to propose and implement solutions.
  • Create detailed reports, including material lists for procurement.
  • Update and maintain technical documentation, including drawings.
  • Ensure compliance with ATEX, NEN1010, and related standards.
  • Provide technical guidance on instrumentation issues with a strong focus on ATEX compliance.

Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in instrumentation engineering, particularly with ATEX regulations.
  • In-depth knowledge of NEN1010 and NEN3140 standards.
  • IEC Module EX 009 certification is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams.
  • Previous experience in chemical industries is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Dutch is essential.
