• Master’s degree or PhD in chemistry.
• First experience (1-3 years) in battery technology and relevant laboratory techniques, including in glove box environment.
• Experience working with hazardous chemicals (powders, organics, acids/bases, etc.).
• Experience with doctor blade coater, lithium-ion cell fabrication and evaluation, high-temperature furnaces, nitrogen gas adsorption, TGA, electron microscopy, and ball milling.
• Good reading, writing, and speaking comprehension of English.
• Communication and Teamwork: Good communication skills can foster a positive team environment.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and excellent time management.

Key Responsibilities:
• Contribute significantly in the lab – perform electrochemical and physical characterization experiments, improve existing characterization tools, and develop new tools on a need basis.
• Investigate slurry properties of Cathode Active Material (CAM) and Anode Active Material (AAM) and the corresponding electrode properties.
• Validate materials using lithium-ion Coin cell testing.
• Generate quality experimental results to inform data-driven decisions.
• Analyze battery test data, communicate results to the team, and suggest new pathways for development.
• Propose experimental plans for well-defined research projects.
• Take ownership of project outcomes and support the ideation of new projects for energy storage application
