ACTIVITIE :
Carry out work in compliance with Company values and policies, relevant laws and regulations, agreed Company priorities and objectives, Company standards and procedures and good industry practices Project Restart Phase Administer the Onshore Package Resumption process further to Long-term Suspension.
? Prepare the necessary change Orders and Amendments for the Resumption of the Packages in line with the Terms Of References and with Project and Company procedures,
? Liaise with the relevant technical teams (DUET) to ensure that the technical requirements are adequately incorporated into the Change Orders process and collaborate with various cross functional departments to ensure timely preparation and readiness,
? Engagement with EPC Contractor in the tripartite negotiations with Subcontractors for Restart scope / schedule and costs for Restart and EPC Resumption Post Award Contract Management Ensure that the EPC Contract assigned are managed in accordance with the agreed contractual terms and conditions and that Company’s interests are always protected:
? Administer contractual correspondence, change orders logs and filing,
? Review requests for Change Orders and prepare / validate change order documents,
? Manage Contractor claims, prepare counter claims, liaise with Project team & HQ as necessary,
? Ensure all contractual certificates, guarantees and insurances required under the Contract are in place and received in due time,
? Coordinate the processing of Contractor’s monthly applications for payment and verify invoice submissions,
? Supervise Contract Engineers and Quantity Surveyors at Site ? Liaise, interface and support Company on Site Management team providing all contractual support on a day-to-day basi
ACCOUNTABILITIES:

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Qualified Contracts engineer for the management of EPC/EPCC construction contracts, Very strong knowledge in construction law and proven experience in management of Oil & Gas project construction and installation contracts from pre-award to final account preferably on offshore / subsea packages
? Diploma: Master Construction Law, Business, Qualification in Engineering / Construction Science would be a plus
? Professional experience: 15 years, - minimum 10 years in similar position
o Knowledge in contract administration, negotiation, monitoring of EPC/EPCC Oil & Gas Projects;
o Leader in managing resources, direct reports and shared resources, team player, transversality minded o Pragmatic, problem solving, solutions marker / coordination and control
? Language: Very good command of English language
JOB DIMENSSION:
Mozambique LNG is a strategic project led by order of magnitude cost of $18 billion. Onshore facilities include 2 LNG trains (13 mtpa), LNG and Condensate storage, Marine Facilities (Jetty and loading facilities), Utilities and Early Site Infrastructure (Resettlement Village, Security works, airport, permanent camps, and roads) The Lead Contract Engineer is responsible for coordinating and supervising all Contract Administration activities related to the management of the EPC contracts for Onshore package of the MZ LNG project. The associated EPC contract value is circa $4 Billion for 4
