Airswift is seeking a Manufacturing Specialist to work in a permanent contract in Rio de Janeiro with a major Oil & Gas Company.
The Manufacturing Specialist is responsible for the safe and efficient execution of general Manufacturing activities, in accordance with the planning constraints, associated costs, technical and quality requirements of the projects. The professional is the point of contact for Manufacturing subcontractors and the Company on the manufacturing sites.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES 

- Manage the selection of subcontractors, the preparation and negotiation of manufacturing subcontracts;
- Create a workplace culture free of incidents and accidents, promoting safety as the first value for the manufacturing team and subcontractors;
- Coordinate the manufacturing subcontractor and ensure compliance in HSE, Quality Assurance and Control, schedule, cost, documentation and reporting;
- Coordinate with Engineering and SCM on any matter related to the manufacturing subcontract;
- Liaise with the Manufacturing Project Manager to help him manage the manufacturing team;
- Manage fabrication planning and ensure that the schedule is adhered to;
- Report regularly on the status of manufacturing, including issues associated with risks, progress, anticipated schedule, etc;
- Monitoring the interfaces with the post-manufacturing phases (transportation, installation, etc.) and preparation for approval of the subcontractor's final documentation.
- Creating a positive HSE culture, ensuring that it is adhered to and implemented on the manufacturing sites;
- Ensure that the Production Quality Plan/Inspection and Testing Plan, if required, is in place and followed;
- Ensure that Non-Conformity Reports (NCRs) are issued and closed, as and when required;
JOB QUALIFICATIONS 
Completed technical training or completed higher education in Engineering or courses related to exact areas.
Knowledge of Office Package;
Knowledge of MS Project and Manufacturing Schedule;
Advanced English
Experience in the Oil & Gas sector desirable;
Experience in manufacturing and/or remote sites desirable;

Working Conditions: Onshore
Willingness to travel when necessary.
