Are you ready to take on the role of Materials Coordinator for a major project on rotational basis in Papua New Guinea? Role Overview
- End-to-end Materials Coordination: Oversee all activities related to materials coordination for the project.
- Interface Management: Act as the liaison between the business unit and procurement.
- Daily Communication: Interact with planning, inventory, vendors, buyers, and maintenance to ensure timely and effective coordination.
- Customer Support: Provide excellent customer service to internal stakeholders.
- Risk Assessments: Participate in or lead risk assessments and hazard observations.
- Vendor Management: Ensure that non-core services vendors have met all site requirements before arriving at the site.
- Equipment Spare Parts Management: Assist in managing equipment spare parts lists.
Skills & Qualifications
- Previous experience in a closely related position.
- Materials Coordination: Extensive knowledge of how and where materials are used in a plant.
- Supplier Coordination: Advanced time management skills and excellent problem-solving abilities.
- SAP Material Catalogs: Extensive knowledge of SAP material catalogues and search tools.
- Search Tools: Advanced written and oral communication skills.
Education & Experience
- Previous experience in a closely related position.
- Extensive knowledge of SAP material catalogues and search tools.
- Advanced time management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Advanced written and oral communication skills.
- Influencing with and without authority.
- Organization skills.
