Our major client, in the Oil & Gas industry, is seeking a Measurement Technician to work offshore leaving from Port Fourchan for a 12-month assignment.

The Measurement Tech is responsible for the measurement of physical quantities. They will work with a team of engineers, technicians, and other professionals to ensure that measurements are accurate, reliable, and consistent.

Job Duties:
1. Follow equipment and task specific procedures to perform the following job duties using safe work practices.
2. Maintain Differential Pressure flow transmitters within acceptable tolerances by testing and calibrating.
3. Maintain Differential Pressure flow transmitters availability by repairing and replacing components as needed.
4. Maintain Temperature and Pressure transmitters within acceptable tolerances by testing and calibrating.
5. Maintain Temperature and Pressure transmitters availability by repairing and replacing components as needed.
6. Maintain analytical equipment, such as Gas Chromatographs, Water Cut Monitors and Moisture analyzers within acceptable tolerances by testing and calibrating.
7. Maintain analytical equipment, such as Gas Chromatographs, Water Cut Monitors and Moisture analyzers availability by repairing and replacing components as needed.
8. Maintain liquid flow meters within acceptable tolerances by performing meter provings.
9. Maintain liquid flow meters availability by repairing and replacing components as needed.
10. Maintain paperwork for calibrations and repairs completed.
11. Pull liquid and gas allocation samples from process lines.
12. Communicate equipment failures to Measurement Specialist.
13. Follow governmental regulations.
14. Plan and coordinate activities to support Measurement and Operational needs of the facility / company.
15. Support Multiphase Meter Validation, data collection, equipment calibration and sample collection.
16. Coordinate and witness LACT and Sales Gas P/L Meter Calibrations
17. Support Measurement Specialist and Allocation department personnel with oil and gas allocation data, error identification and equipment corrections.
18. Develop technical skillset and increase knowledge through learning new equipment, taking on new tasks, and attending equipment specific training.
