Airswift is looking for a Mechanical Static Engineer to work for a major LNG project in Houston, Texas.
 
This professional will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of the project through their expertise in engineering, LNG, and owner/operator experience.
 
Role Overview
  • Conduct engineering assurance review items to ensure quality and compliance
  • Provide technical review of assurance findings and decision framing
  • Review and verify EPC change orders
  • Support operations readiness assurance review actions across multiple disciplines
  • Assist with LNTP4 deliverables support, including technical review of design documentation
  • Collaborate with regulatory (FREC) filings/submissions from an owner's perspective
  • Conduct pipeline value engineering review items
  • Ensure project deliverables meet engineering standards and specifications
  • Support project reviews and audits as needed
  • Communicate effectively with other team members and stakeholders
 
Skills & Qualifications
  • Static equipment experience
  • Engineering PC: Proficient in using engineering software and tools.
  • LNG Knowledge: Strong understanding of LNG processes and operations.
  • Owner/Operator Experience: Previous experience working as an owner or operator in a similar project.
  • Interfacing Experience: Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with various stakeholders.
  • Projects/Operations Experience: Proven experience in successful project delivery or operations management.
  • Engineering Degree: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
  • Technical Review Skills: Ability to conduct technical reviews and verifications of project deliverables.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with regulatory requirements and processes.
  • Civil/Structural/Mechanical Expertise: Strong knowledge and experience in civil, structural, and mechanical engineering.
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to review and verify technical documentation for accuracy and compliance.
 
Education & Experience
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications in engineering or project management preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 10+ years of experience in the industry.
