The company/project

We are recruiting on behalf of a dynamic engineering consultancy specializing in delivering innovative projects across materials handling and process infrastructure. The company is currently seeking two experienced Multi-Discipline Draftees to join their team, focusing on structural and piping drafting.
 

The role

As a Multi-Discipline Draftee, you will be responsible for creating and modifying detailed designs using SolidWorks, contributing to the success of ongoing projects. You will collaborate closely with engineers to develop structural and piping schematics and ensure that all designs meet the required safety, quality, and technical specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
 

  • Create and modify detailed designs using SolidWorks.
  • Collaborate with engineers to develop structural and piping schematics.
  • Contribute to drafting projects related to materials handling and process infrastructure.
  • Ensure all designs meet safety, quality, and technical specifications.
  • Prepare detailed drawings for approval and construction purposes.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Extensive experience using SolidWorks for drafting purposes.
  • Strong background in structural and/or piping drafting within industrial or similar sectors.
  • Experience in materials handling and process infrastructure is highly preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team of 6 draftees and other engineers.
  • Previous experience in the gold industry or similar sectors is advantageous.
