Job Description
This role is a Health, Safety and Environmental position within our Gulf of Mexico HSE Department supporting our Drilling & Completion operations. This rotational position is located offshore on a rig in the Gulf of Mexico as a member of the drilling and completion team working with the Company Foremen and Rig Contractor Management and Safety Teams providing a key role in all HSE and Regulatory matters.
Responsibilities
• Plan and execute activities in support of offshore drilling and completion operations in compliance with API standards.
• Ensure adherence to SEMS CFR 250 Subpart S regulations.
• Monitor and manage waste and environmental standards in the Gulf of Mexico.
• Collaborate with the HSE team to maintain high safety standards and ensure environmental compliance.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory reporting requirements are met.
• Prepare and present reports on drilling and completion activities to management and stakeholders.
• Coordinate with various departments and external agencies to ensure smooth project execution.
Qualifications
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in offshore drilling and completions.
• Proficient with API standards and SEMS CFR 250 Subpart S.
• Familiarity with Gulf of Mexico waste and environmental standards.
• Strong background in Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
