Job Title: Project Planner
Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Planner to develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely delivery and integration with contractor milestones.
The position is on a Contract basis with an initial duration of a least 2 years, there may however be scope for extension. The role will be based in Oslo with some travel to Svelgen - there is the possibility of hybrid working.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering and commerce/ finance, or equivalent by experience
- Minimum of 10 years' experience as a project planner (essential)
- Client-Side experience to have exposure to full project life cycle, from concept through to execution, and the associated gate movements.
- Relevant experience and understanding of facilities construction technics, EPC experience is very beneficial
- Advanced skills with Primavera P6, MS Office, Business Intelligence tools like Power BI
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage integrated master schedules and project milestones.
- Analyse contractor schedules and integrate them into the overall program.
- Conduct "What-if" scenarios, critical path, and milestone analysis.
- Perform schedule health checks and ensure schedule logic integrity.
- Implement EVM techniques to track and report project performance.
- Generate weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc project reports.
- Coordinate with project controls teams and ensure alignment with cost estimation.
- Evaluate contractor progress and monitor on-site activities.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders.
