The Company
A global company of energy, chemicals and resources experts looking to add someone to their team in a new project in Perth, WA.
Your Responsibilities
- Support the Contracts and Procurement Manager in executing the project procurement and contracting plan and lead the supply chain end to end process.
- Develop and issue complex tender packages, administer tender process and receive tenders. Undertake review of tender submissions and negotiate any exceptions to Terms and Conditions.
- Work with engineering, planning, project controls, construction, HSE and quality to ensure suppliers and contractors deliver specified services on-time.
- Liaise with legal representatives on complex commercial negotiations.
- Responsible for all assigned activities related to the contracting of construction services, packaged equipment, materials and third-party contract services ensuring quality compliance of equipment, materials and third-party services.
- Prepare recommendations for award for Client and draft Contracts/Purchase Orders.
What you’ll need to succeed
- University Degree, preferably in supply chain, law, business administration, quantity surveying/construction management or related field, or equivalent relevant experience. MCIPS/RIQS accreditation highly regarded.
- Extensive contracts and procurement experience in executing major projects in an EPCM / EPC organization.
- Able to give job related guidance to department staff as a senior advisor.
- Strong understanding of processes and tools related to field. Able to assist others and troubleshoot issues
