The Company

A global company of energy, chemicals and resources experts looking to add someone to their team in a new project in Perth, WA.

 

Your Responsibilities

  • Support the Contracts and Procurement Manager in executing the project procurement and contracting plan and lead the supply chain end to end process. 
  • Develop and issue complex tender packages, administer tender process and receive tenders.  Undertake review of tender submissions and negotiate any exceptions to Terms and Conditions.
  • Work with engineering, planningproject controlsconstruction, HSE and quality to ensure suppliers and contractors deliver specified services on-time.
  • Liaise with legal representatives on complex commercial negotiations.
  • Responsible for all assigned activities related to the contracting of construction services, packaged equipment, materials and third-party contract services ensuring quality compliance of equipment, materials and third-party services.
  • Prepare recommendations for award for Client and draft Contracts/Purchase Orders.

What you’ll need to succeed

  • University Degree, preferably in supply chain, law, business administration, quantity surveying/construction management or related field, or equivalent relevant experience. MCIPS/RIQS accreditation highly regarded.
  • Extensive contracts and procurement experience in executing major projects in an EPCM / EPC organization.
  • Able to give job related guidance to department staff as a senior advisor.
  • Strong understanding of processes and tools related to field. Able to assist others and troubleshoot issues
