On behalf of our customers, Airswift is currently recruiting for a Process Engineer to be placed in Nanterre and would be on a 1-year contract with the possibility of extension.


Activity:

Execution of technical engineering activities in “Process Engineering & Design Development”, following the Rules of the Art, within the framework of engineering projects and studies for the design of industrial installations in the sectors of Energy, Gas, Oil, Chemistry/Petrochemicals and energy transition.

Responsibilities 

  • Participates in the definition of rules and criteria for the sizing of equipment, instruments and piping.
  • Writes the technical descriptions of the Processes, Utilities and Supports units (e.g. Torches and Storage).
  • Develops and writes Calculation Notes for the definition and sizing of equipment, instruments and piping.
  • Participates in the drafting of Process datasheets (PDS) for Equipment and Instruments.
  • Participates in the definition of the control and safety schemes and systems of the installation under development.
  • Participates in the development of detailed Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID).
  • Participates in the development of Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs).
  • Participates in the development of Heat and Material Balance (HMB).
  • Reviews and verifies documents issued by other Engineering Disciplines and by suppliers/vendors.
  • Logic of Process Control and Process Safety systems.
Skills / Qualifications 
  • Master's degree in Chemical Engineering (Chemical Engineering) and/or Process Engineering (Process Engineering);
  • Mastery of the specificities of the process engineering profession;
  • Knowledge of applicable codes (API, ISO, etc.);
  • Knowledge of process calculation software such as Hysys;
  • Mastery of the office suite (World / Excel / Power Point);
  • Good level of English (spoken/read/written).
