Job Description:
Process Engineer with extensive experience in process simulations and design, particularly with dynamic simulations. You will be responsible for various tasks, including developing and analysing process flow diagrams, line sizing, equipment sizing, and detailed process systems design. Ensuring projects meet both regulatory standards and client expectations, particularly in the fields of hydrogen production and carbon capture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform process simulations using either Unisim, Aspentech Hysys, and Flarenet
- Develop and review Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) and - - Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).
- Conduct line sizing and equipment sizing for various process systems.
- Prepare preliminary and detailed process system designs.
- Develop and maintain line lists, valve lists, and data sheets for equipment, relief valves, actuated valves, and instruments.
- Participate in HAZOP studies, design reviews, and other safety and design assessments.
Qualifications and Experience:
- B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Process Technology or a related field.
- 5-10 years of relevant experience, preferably in project work involving multidisciplinary teams.
- Extensive experience in engineering with a focus on process design and simulations.
- Familiarity with regulations related to Norwegian onshore projects, particularly in hydrogen and carbon capture.
- Strong understanding of relevant industry regulations and standards.
