Location: Cologne, Germany
Work Schedule: Hybrid working model with a minimum of 3 days per week in the office
Eligibility: Candidates must be eligible to work in Germany
Languages: Proficiency in both German (minimum B2 level) and English is required

Role Overview:

As a Project Inspection Services Coordinator at Airswift, you will be integral to ensuring that our projects meet the highest standards of quality and compliance. You will lead the coordination and execution of supplier evaluation and inspection programs, ensuring they are aligned with project criticality assessments, contractual obligations, and regulatory standards. Your role will involve close collaboration with the Project Quality Team to ensure that all project objectives are met with the utmost technical excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supplier Evaluation & Inspection: Coordinate the implementation of comprehensive supplier evaluation and inspection programs within projects, ensuring alignment with critical project requirements.
  • Verification & Compliance: Establish and oversee robust service and product verification and inspection programs, ensuring adherence to contractual agreements and regulatory requirements.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide expert technical leadership and management to assigned inspectors, guiding them to achieve project goals and maintain high standards of quality.
  • Daily Management: Manage the day-to-day activities of the inspection team, ensuring compliance with corporate policies, processes, and procedures.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Maintain effective communication with all stakeholders, including the construction project team, to ensure that project requirements are clearly understood and met.
  • Troubleshooting & Guidance: Assist in resolving technical issues and provide guidance and support to team members to overcome challenges.

Qualifications:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in a related field.
  • Expertise: Strong expertise in at least one functional area of project inspection services, with a good understanding of related functions.
  • Management Skills: Proven ability to manage individual functions within a project and ensure they are aligned with broader business objectives.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and persuasively to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in systems, processes, and tools relevant to project inspection and quality management.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in both German (minimum B2 level) and English is essential.
