Airswift are currently recruiting for a Project Manager to work on a Major Offshore Wind Project that is to be developed in the North Sea. The role is working for a leading global engineering company and is focussed on the Offshore Substation package. The position is to be based at our clients offices in Copenhagen with frequent visits to Norway. There is also the option for a flexible working schedule.
 

About the Role

The project is currently at FEED stage and there is an opportunity to take the project through to execution. Please see below a summary of Responsibilities:

  • Ensure Best Practices in Safety: Lead and promote safety excellence in all project activities.
  • Mentor and Collaborate: Support junior staff, share knowledge, and work closely with other project managers and team members.
  • Develop and Maintain Customer Relationships: Build strong client partnerships to support project goals.
  • Drive Project Success: Oversee project performance, aiming to meet both commercial and technical objectives.
  • Lead FEED Stage Projects: Manage the project through FEED with the potential for transition to execution.

 

Qualifications

Experience/Qualifications Required:

  • A degree in Engineering, ideally with an Electrical background however all disciplines can be considered. Project Management qualifications are beneficial
  • Direct experience in delivering Offshore Wind Projects from FEED stage
  • Experience in the Offshore Substation package
  • Demonstrable experience in project management fundamentals (cost, risk, schedule and contractual management, change control etc)
  • Experience with commercial terms and cost controlling
