We are currently recruiting for a Project Materials Coordinator to be placed in Soyo, Angola on a 12-month contract with extension. The main function is to Coordinate the safe, reliable, efficient and sustainable Project materials management (material receipt, storage, preservation and distribution) at ALNG facility in Soyo.
Responsibilities:
- Controls Project Dedicated Warehouse/Lay down Area.
- Coordinates with SCM at various storage facilities for the movement of received Project Materials to the final destination.
- Checks and issues all updated Logs and Reports on weekly/daily basis.
- Supports evaluation of the equipment and man-power required for handling Project Materials at Project Warehouse/Lay down Area.
- Interacts with Inventory Management Coordinator for keeping materials blocked for TA, Projects and major maintenance, providing all details for uploading all the Project Materials in the system.
- Coordinates with HES team any required support to move oversize/overweight materials.
- Coordinates work packs segregation and identification.
- Support as needed QAQC and preservation requirements.
- Drives Project Team to foster hazard identification culture to improve safe working conditions.
- Promote OE Culture.
- Coordinates resources to execute material preservation in coordination with material management planning team
- Review work in progress to ensure satisfactory completion of assignments.
- Strengthen the Organizational Capability of the Material Management Operations team.
- Coordinates execution as per schedule and budget
- Support material management KPIs implementation and follow up.
- Fluent English and Portuguese
- Advanced / intermediate and or experience of Warehouse and lifting Operations.
- Chemicals handling knowledge.
- Ideal candidate will have minimum 3-5 years’ experience of warehouse operations, managing data to support decisions at ground level.
- Driving license, able to operate forklifts and delivery vehicles
