We are seeking a highly skilled PTW Coordinator to join our team in Chester, United Kingdom. As a leading engineering and construction company, we are committed to ensuring safe and sustainable operations.
 

Role Overview

  • Manage and monitor all PTW systems as a member of the HSE department
  • Coordinate the process of all permits and identify potential conflicting work tasks
  • Chair daily PTW coordination meetings
  • Conduct internal HSE inspections
  • Deliver HSE induction and training
  • Keep updated HSE procedures for specific tasks
  • Supervise HSE procedures implementation on site
  • Ensure effective implementation of Life Saving Rules
  • Spread HSE rules, standards, procedures, and bulletins on site
  • Promote safe operative techniques and methodologies
  • Ensure adequate HSE reporting in line with company procedures
  • Inspect subcontractors' activities
  • Control compliance of equipment utilized on site
  • Monitor the effective implementation of the Permit to Work system on site
  • Prepare and administer HSE Key Performance Indicators for operational activities
  • Assist in the investigation of accidents and propose corrective measures
  • Monitor and maintain control measures for hazardous materials
  • Supervise environmental aspect on site, supporting key personnel

Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in permitting and coordinating activities
  • Knowledge of HSE procedures implementation, Life Saving Rules, and Job Safety Analysis
  • Familiarity with HSE reporting and hazardous materials control
  • Ability to supervise environmental aspects on site
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with workforce and supervision
  • Optional: Experience with HSE procedures implementation, Life Saving Rules, Job Safety Analysis, HSE reporting, hazardous materials control, and environmental aspect supervision

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience preferred
  • Certifications in relevant HSE procedures advantageous
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in coordinating PTW systems and managing HSE procedures
