Quality Manager

As a Quality Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our products consistently meet and exceed customer expectations. Your responsibilities will include organising and leading inspections, developing, and maintaining management systems, managing non-conformance, overseeing supplier quality assurance, and more. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and possess excellent interpersonal skills.
Job Responsibilities:
- Quality System Administration
- Manage Internal Quality and Supplier Audits
- Develop, Improve & Maintain Management Systems (IATF16949, ISO 9001, Working towards ISO 14001)
- Liaise with External Certification Bodies
- Act as Icon Plastics Ltd Management Representative (Quality)
- Maintain and Review Laboratory Scope
- Product Approval (Assist Product Engineering Function)
- Assist in APQP Coordination
- Develop Process Flow Diagrams, PFMEA, Control Plans, etc.
- Manage and Compile Production Part Approval Planning Process (PPAP)
- Assist in Conducting Process/Machine Capability Studies
- Managing Non-Conformance
- Tracking/Reporting Cost of Quality
- Generate/Present data on Internal Rework and Scrap
- Develop and Maintain KPIs (QCD)
- Supplier Quality Assurance
- Quality Assessment & Approval (Manage Approved Suppliers List)
- Performance Reporting
- Other Responsibilities:
- Measurement Control System (GR&R)
- Quarantine Control
- Concession Requests, Participate in APQP
- Assist Sales Manager in Issue/Routing Changes
Job requisites and experience
- (Preferred) 5+ years of experience in the manufacturing sector in quality department
- Experience managing a team
- Audit experience
- Demonstrable familiarity with processes such as injection moulding, paint finishing, assembly work
