Airswift is currently looking for Senior Drilling Engineer to work with an Oil and GAS Operator based in Stavanger, Norway.

SPECIFICATION

The position will require presence at offices in Stavanger and reports to the VP D&W Skarv. Skarv is a FPSO, currently with 5 subsea templates and 5 single slots. During the next couple of years, we will drill several infill targets as well as a project from 3 new templates.
In this role, you will be responsible for optimizing the drilling solutions based on best available technology, efficient operations and quality through lifetime of the wells. You will be part of the well delivery from early planning, via operation to production start.

Typical work tasks can be:
• Optimize Well design.
• Seek and implement lessons from suppliers, other operators
• Ensure continuous improvement during planning and operations.
• Challenge technical solutions and the “established truths”
• Delivering Drilling and Wells programs.
• Support ongoing operations, onshore and offshore.
• Participate in technology implementation.

Skills and qualifications:
• Minimum M.sc. engineering degree or similar in scientific subjects.
• Good understanding of how digitalization will affect how we work.
• Fluent in English and preferably fluent in Norwegian, both verbal and written
