About the Role:
Our client is a market leader in the delivery of offshore projects and services in the energy industry, and one of the world’s largest offshore EPCI contractors.
As their projects continues to evolve and expand, a position has arisen for an experienced Senior HSE Advisor, supporting the project team offshore. You will work closely with our existing team to deliver projects for their clients.
Key Responsibilities:

Driving all aspects of safety on the vessel ensuring that safety culture exists, correct implementation of SMS, and encouraging employees to take ownership and accountability for their health and safety.

Coach, mentor and support all company employees in all matters pertaining to the health, safety and security, and promote safety awareness, ensuring that all employees including subcontractors are aware of the requirements of the company.

Identification of safety critical elements related to the Project works. Co-ordinate the execution of Risk Analysis, HAZOPs, Job Safety Analysis, Risk Assessments and/or other technical HSE studies that may be required and follow-up of resulting actions.

Conduct HSE inspections and audits, on all company sites both onshore and offshore, ensuring that the company is compliant with all safety and environmental regulations.

Liase with company on HSE matters and represent the HSE function at various meetings as required.
Key Skills and Experience Required:

Demonstrated experience in managing all aspects of HSE in the Oil and Gas Industry including experience in managing all aspects of HSE on a vessel.

Recognised HSE Qualification, along with offshore qualifications.

Knowledge and understanding of ISO 14001 Environmental Standard

Experience in the writing and implementation of HSE Project documentation in accordance with company, client and statutory requirements.

Experience in carrying out audits and accident/incident investigations and producing subsequent reports.
